Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 Second Time in a Row had Unpleasant Experience
I've stayed in thei venue numerous time. The last time they did not replenish my towels or toiletries, they did not empty my trtash cans.
On first night as I turned down sheets I found a PILL BOX in the middle of the made bed. Was this from the maid or the previous customer?
End of first day soap was on floor of shower - and I did not leave it there.
This time the bathroom smelled of MILDEW - opened door and cranked up A/C; it helped. Don't know why I had not noticed, but in the morning I discovered there was NO SHOWER CURTAIN.
The first time I gave them the benefit of doubt. The second time, I'm beginning to wonder ...
I may give them ONE-MORE-TRY, and if it is a bad experience their off my list - I'll notify AMEX, AAA, The American Legion, AARP and the NRA to take this hotel off their recommended-stay lists.

We'd stay here again. Quick check-in and check-out. Room was ready when we arrived. Transport to Port Authority Bus Terminal arrived a few minutes after the desk called.

This was a good hotel to stay at. This is especially true if you mostly want somewhere to sleep and maybe relax from all the NYC for an evening. The beds are clean and comfortable and the movie selection was good.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JWD42 Nice people, but dated rooms and bad building
Positive: seems newly painted and inviting from the outside, and staff is friendly and helpful (though they turned off my keys early)
Negative: Rooms from the 70s (small, tired furnishings, scary carpet), A/C that blows max or not at all, and one tiny, slow elevator for a nine-floor facility. I also think it may have been broken as I noticed one time I was lucky enough to get on that it stopped at a few floors that were not lit on the panel. I had to go up and down the stairs from the 7th floor many times.

Our recent stay was quite comfortable however there are two suggestions for management. On weekends when hotel is full give the poor breakfast assistant help in stocking up the supplies. Many guests were short of supplies up to an hour before the 10:00 am closing
Also consider another elevator. During peak hours I walked down from the 8th floor as the current elevator is very slow and demand is great.
