Excellent location for Brooklyn and subway to NYC.
Hotel is clean and bright, shiny new.
Breakfast was very good for hotel self-service.
Staff was unhelpful in many ways.

Reasonable hotel, clean room and comfortable bed. Wifi was slow. Breakfast was nice. Close to many things, coffee shops, bagel shops, lunch, dinner, close to transportation, subways. Got to town early and was able to check in before the normal time.

My three-night stay in room 902 and the one-night stay of my son and his bride in 906 on their wedding night was a lovely experience for us. Everyone on the staff seemed to know about the honeymooners and the special treats the staff had arranged for them in their room. The hotel employees could not have been nicer. In my three days at the Holiday Inn Express-Brooklyn, all the staff (including the housekeepers and the breakfast room manager) appeared so happy for the newlywed couple—and for me as mother of the groom. Special thanks to Daniel at the front desk, and to Naomi, who did the shopping for the roses, the box of chocolates and the sparkling wine for the Romantic Escape package. The location of the hotel was very convenient to the subway. Next time I visit my Brooklyn family, I'll definitely stay again at this hotel, and I'll recommend it to others.
