The amenities were wonderful. The pool was clean and ready for us to enjoy. Thank you to the staff at the Brookville Holiday Inn. We look forward to staying with your hotel in the near future.

Everything I've come to expect from Holiday Inn, consistent quality and service wherever I go, no suprises ever. This has not been the case when I have tried other hotel chains in the same price range. Never again, hereafter I will always use Holiday Inn for all my tlodging needs.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by GreatBigtDog Amazed at the condition of the bathroom wall.
I was not happy when I first entered the bathroom in my room as I noted the shower curtain rod was barely hanging on to the wall by less than desireable mounting materials. There were 3 holes in the wall where the curtain rod had been pulled off the wall previously. It seems the manner of repair is to just put more holes in the wall, NOT repair the current holes.
I went to the front desk the following morning and explained the situation to the clerk, (I did not gethis name, I believe he is of Hindi descent.) I explained to him how I felt about this situation in my room. I told him that to me, a customer, I felt the operators or managers of the place did not care about the place. If I walked into someones home and saw the same thing, I would believe the same thing, the owners do not care. He said, "We do care". I interrupted by stating if the owners/managers DID care, ther would not be three holes in the wall from previous shower curtain rod mounting failuers. Sorry, holes in the way are an indicatior one just does not care, especially if there is a hstorical aspect to the holes.
When I returned that afternoon, the rod had been re-hung, shabbily, (still loose and drooping in the center). The holes were smeared over with a huge lump of putty that looked like it had been done by a 3 year old. Very unprofessional.
This is highly unacceptable in my opinion. I've never seen a HEI represented like this. Very sad.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. Our room was a smoking king suite and was clean and comfortable. The room had a pleasant smell, not a smokey one and the furnishings were in good shape. The only thing that was a bit of a drag was having to get on the elevator to get ice from another floor. Breakfast was ok but nothing to get excited over. Fruit would have been a nice touch and often there is flavored creamer for coffee that wasn't available here.
We would definitely stay here again because of the good value and clean, quiet surroundings.

Over the last 6 weeks, as we followed our daughter in her college sport, we have stayed at hotels, several of then Holiday Inn Express.
This was our most disappointing experience, in the most expense of our Ohio stays. Our room smelled of cigarette smoke, although we were assured it was a non-smoking room. The window was had a sheer drape that would close, exposing you to the bright lights shining from outdoors. If this did not keep you awake, the ultra bright lights of the elevator ceiling surely could. Each time on the elevator with other guests, they all negatively commented on this feature. Finally, why a 3 floor hotel only has an ice machine on the 1st floor is beyond me?
Not up to par with what we have come to experience at Holiday Inn Express within Ohio or in other states. Very disappointing stay.

The hotel needs updating, is tired and was lacking basic food items for breakfast.
