Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Spend the Night We needed a place to spend the night and because Holiday Inn Express has always been very reputable and consistant with what we can expect from a Motel Chain we decided to spend the night here. The only choice of rooms available was a suite. The down side to this whole experience.. the table in the room (dining area) did NOT have enough or any light by it,, which we thought seemed odd and the living/sitting area.. did not have a lamp there either. We thought it was too pricey for the circumstance. April 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best in Brownfield Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and neat as a pin. Without any doubt, THE place to stay when visiting Brownfield. The only place we've ever stayed in Brownfield where you can actually get a Non-Smoking Room where people have NOT been smoking in the recent past - or ever. The fitness center is nothing to brag about, but it was adequate and clean. The entire facility was quiet - all the time - even with lot of folks staying all up and down the hall. We were right next to the elevator, but never heard anyone coming or going. The nice ladies at the front desk can provide valuable local information. April 14, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service We were stranded by a winter storm and stayed three nights at this hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Free Wifi was nice. The elevator went out but the management had it going a few minutes later. We will stay here again on future trips. November 26, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Broken Elevator I was a guest at this hotel on Sunday, October 13th. That evening the area experienced a thunder storm. A lightening strike caused outages of the cable TV, Internet, and the elevator. I returned to this property on Sunday, October 27th. The elevator was still out of order. This property is the best place in the area to stay, however, I wonder how it can keep going for that many days without elevator service to the upper floors. I don't mind using the stairs, but I certainly didn't want to carry my luggage up the stairs. The desk clerk was able to accommodate my colleague and me on the first floor, but I prefer to stay on the second or third floor. November 1, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Extras and Amenities On 13 Oct 2013, a thunderstorm caused the elevator, fire detection system and internet to include the cable to go out. There were no repairs made to restore any of the items. The attendant at the front desk was really unprepared to handle the situation or provide information to the customers. Frankly, I like a refund for the above night. October 17, 2013
