Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed I've stayed here several times the past 12 months. I know they have been going through renovations which I understand. I have never been identified or greeted as a platinum member. Although the top 2 floors renovations were complete, I was given a dirty room on the first floor. Each time I stay there, I have to wait for the staff to print out a copy of my bill. The location is great for my business needs and has a pretty water view but the beds were uncomfortable, the AC too hot and not a very or attentive staff. September 12, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Getaway This past weekend I stayed with my husband and son and we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is going through renovations but that wasen't a problem for us. We arrived friday night and receceptionist Joe received us very cheerfully. We asked for a water view and he happily upgraded us. Room 305 was overall very clean the only thing was that the restroom only had one small bottle of shampoo and conditioner was missing so we had to ask the housekeeper for some the next morning. Breakfast was good and there was plenty of variety to choose from. I also liked that the hotel is near a lot of restaurants and sunrise mall is only a few blocks away. Another convenient thing for us was that South Padre is just 25 mins away so we saved money because hotels in the island were very pricey because of summer. We didn't get a chance to get in the pool because we spent our weekend at the beach and schliterbahn but it looked very clean. We will consider staying at this hotel another time hopefully by the time we go visit again renovations will be done. August 19, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by They did not treat me as Priority Club member and the building was in poor condition. It was the first time that one Holiday Inn hotel does treated me as Priority Club member,the guy who was working in the front desk was not very polite. The hallway walls were unpainted and bad condition. Once in the room I was about to take a shower and had no towels in the bathroom. Later I complained to the Lady who was doing service room and told me that at that time had no towels because they were washing, so I went to the front desk confirmed the same information. This is so funny because I was waiting hours to do the check in. August 18, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by No A/C & Leaky Faucet I reserved this room for my son's usage, i.e., on his first night with his new wife after their wedding. Needless to say, the lack of an A/C during the late night hours and a leaky faucet did not earn a high rating from me. August 18, 2014
