Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bathrooms need proper shower curtains The shower curtain in the bathroom is just two pieces of woven cloth so water goes right through it. After my shower there was about an inch of water covering the entire bathroom floor. Used all the towels and spent 10 minutes cleaning up the floor after each shower. The mold and mildew build up in the shower's grout needs to be bleached off or re-grouted.....looks nasty. October 22, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great guest services As a guest in the Brownwood Holiday Inn Express, I really didn't have any needs that I needed addressed, however, during breakfast one morning, there was a gentleman there, elderly, who seemed to be suffering from Parkinson's Disease. He was very shaky, and he seemed a bit troubled making his selection. One of the hotel workers seeing this came up to him, picked up a tray and helped him in making his breakfast choices. It took her about 10 minutes, he was a bit slow and confused, however she was very sweet to him. He wished to eat back in his room, which I saw was on the 1st floor and he did not have a key, the employee knocked on the door and an elderly lady came to the door with a relieved look on her face. I heard her say that she had not heard her husband get out. He had Alzheimer's and wonders away some times. This employee did more that she realized by helping this aged man, and I did tell her how much I appreciated the extra service that she gave him. Your business is better off with people like her.
