Holiday Inn was very clean, rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. I will stay here again the next time I am in Brownwood. The breakfast was good! Staff was helpful and very friendly.

Meets usual expectation of Holiday Inn group except for no all day coffee. Get coffee early for the road.

I was quite pleasantly surprised at the whole experience. Loved the reception staff...just all around excellent! I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. I will make every effort to stay there every other month when I visit my franchisee in that area.

Staff and facilities are first rate, would recommend. I reserved 2 rooms on the IHG web site, 1 king suite, 1 two queen handicapped accessible. When I checked in at the hotel I was told I had reserved 2 king suites. I checked my reservation on my smart phone and it showed I had 1 king suite and 1 king mobility accessible. Hotel staff was very helpful but unable to get me the 2 queen room I had reserved. They were able to get a king handicapped accessible room but 1 of the 3 people I had reserved the room for had to sleep on the sofa bed. The rollaway bed the hotel provided was terrible, felt like an old metal box spring with a thin cover on it. If this is the quality of the rollaway beds IHG provides they need to just do away with that option as no one could possible sleep on that bed.
As I said the hotel staff was very helpful and did all they could do to accommodate us. What I would like to find out is how my reservation was changed from what I reserved (and verified the night before on my computer) to what the hotel computer said I had reserved to what my phone showed I had reserved. All three reservations were different and I would like to know how and why the reservations were changed without my knowledge or consent.

Impressed with the size of the room. Room was nice size with sofa and refrigerator. Furniture was up to date with the carpet looking clean and the room being clean as well.
