Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by update needed this holiday inn xpress is in dire need of remodeling. the first room we were asigned too smelled of mildew and had to move upstairs to another room, it seemed with room freshner as trying to cover up the smell there as well. stay there when in the Benton area but sown think we'll do that again until updating takes place. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by disatisfied with staff We recently stayed at the Bryant Holiday Inn Express. We stay often at Holiday Inn's and have been very satisfied in the past. I was not satisfied with the front staff during this stay. I get to my destination and he will not give me the government rate. I have never had problems getting the government rate before. He told me I should have been informed of that when I made the reservation and kept referring to the website. I made the reservation by calling the hotel directly and not the 800 holiday inn reservation numbers or by website. I was not told I couldn't get the government rate. I also couldn't check the website he was referring to because I was standing in front of him and I didn't make the reservation via web. I will not stay here again due to customer service. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place Last minute find in the middle of a long road trip. Staff very friendly and got me a great rate compared to the other hotels around it. Only problem I had and was nothing to do with the hotel itself but its in a dry county so if you want any kind of beer you have to go to the next county. It was only a 5 mile drive but still a little inconvenient. August 4, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Big Room, comfy chair, terrible bed I walked into the room and was pleasantly surprised. It was large and the king size bed looked inviting. It was early evening, so I dressed and went out for supper, which is conveniently located across the street. When I came back, I bathed and went to bed. The bed was so hard that I had to fold up the duvet just for some padding. Finally, at 3:15, I sat up in the chair and tried to sleep there. There was a pad on the bed that had a plastic inside. I haven't slept on a urine pad since I was four. It was a terrible night. I left, even though I had two more nights that I had reserved. I went to another hotel, but I did check the bed first. On the other hand, David was nice and the breakfast was yummy! And, you can't go wrong with Bath and Body Works shampoo! Nice choice!! July 27, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Housekeeping left my door open after cleaning Housekeeping left my door open after cleaning. I was gone for the whole day with my door open. Good thing I took all valuables with me, because the staff is not competent enough to simply close a door. The uninterested manager came up to the room to test the doors as if I was ignorant.. He said sorry and left. I am a platinum whatever member, but treated as if this was no big deal. Now looking to patronize another chain. I spend approx. 100 nights a year in hotels. Great Job! For me this was a little inconvenient. Otherwise the rooms are clean and the staff is nice. The location is awesome. Very close to nice restaurants and shopping. July 11, 2013

But I will never stay again in this one because of the musty smell. I can't just not stand musty smell, it make me feel like everything is dirty. July 10, 2013

Except for our breakfast experience this stay was no exception. At the breakfast facility, the usual selections were not kept well stocked, so we skipped the breakfast and ate at the Cracker Barrel across the street. June 22, 2013

They went above and beyond to make sure we were accommadated. i will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends traveling there. And this is my choice hotel when traveling there. I believe that it would be AWESOME customer service to have that information readily available - or a notice to the rooms for out of state visitors. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Need renovation This hotel is in need of renovation or not be a Holiday Inn. Our room was damp, beds linens and carpet felt wet. Smelled musty. Bathroom was not as clean as expected. Tile dirty and paint peeling. Mattress lumpy. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Breakfast as expected. Our previous nights were at a top of the line Staybridge Suite. I know HIExpress can't compare to Staybridge, but should be up to the standard for Express. June 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Coustomer Service and Good Breakfast We enjoyed our stay at your Holiday Inn Express in Bryant, Arkansas. We booked our room with your hotel on the phone right before arrival on the 20th and enjoyed a warm reception by Cynthia. Cynthia was handling multiple bookings at the time and accidentally put us in a room with one queen instead of two. When we were returned to the desk, Cynthia was quick to apologize and was sincere. She took it upon herself to upgrade us to a large room at no charge. This kind of customer service doesn't happen often. Cynthia is one to hold onto. She has made a loyal customer of us if we ever stay near Little Rock. Additionally, breakfast was delicious and hot! Thanks for your great service! May 23, 2013

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not all Holiday Inn Express are the same This property is old and does not compare to the remodeled or newer Express. The bed was uncomfortable for everyone in the group we were traveling with. The staff does their best to keep it as clean as possible, it is just old. They did not show any indications or welcome us as Priority Club members. It is very conveniently located on the service road and has several restaurant in front. Good place to stop for a quick overnight rest. Full breakfast was offered in a clean environment. April 9, 2013

The bathroom wasn't very clean and we could hear noise when the people in the room above moved around. The door to the room next door rattled a couple of times as someone must have been checking it. In the morning the girl working at the breakfast stand was in her room with the door open. She was picking her nose and eating whatever came out of it. Been here before and it was clean and nice. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Modest Hotel at Modest Price I have stayed at this hotel a number of times in the past few years, most recently twice within a week. This is an older hotel which the staff/management seem to try their best to keep clean. The breakfast cinnamon buns are wonderful, as are the warm cookies they serve in the evenings. The bathroom does not have a fan or ventilation system of any kind. In addition, there is posted an offensive sign in the bathroom about the prices of various towels and washcloths...inviting guests to buy them from the housekeeping staff or have the price of "wanted" (stolen?!) items added to one's bill. I have tried to overlook this insulting sign on past visits, but most recently when the housekeeping staff left a dirty towel in the otherwise clean bathroom, it was just too ironic. I mentioned my dismay at the dirty towel and the sign to the manager in the morning, and while he apologized for the dirty towel, he said the sign was a standard Holiday Inn thing. I assured him it was not, as I have stayed at many Holiday Inns and Holiday Inn Expresses and never seen such a sign. April 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable bed and pillows Overall, we were traveling and needed to sleep. Staff not overly friendly, but OK. She did google map the restaurant we were looking for. Room was not dark - between the sodium vaopr lights at the strip mall behind and the huge cracks around the door letting the hallway light in. Large metal trash receptacle was noisily empited at strip mall at 5am. I should have asked before booking if there was a pool/hottub as we enjoy that after a long day driving and this older hotel does not have an indoor one. overall, it was a place to sleep, but nothing special. First hotel I have ever stayed in that did not have a business center or computer/printer for guests. As bad, was unable to connect to internet with password. Front desk said password was correct, try without username. Tried every possible way to connect, unable to connect and hotel staff did not know how to help. Finally called computer help number who had to connect me directly. March 19, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Older hotel This is an older Holiday Inn. Some of the beds don't seem as comfortable as the newer Holiday Inns. I stayed here on and off for three months though and had a great experience. The staff always held my room when I wasn't there on the weekends so I could come back to the same room for work that week. Would recommend it just on the basis of having a nice, friendly, helpful staff. Thanks Guys. December 26, 2012

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Holiday Inn Express - Bryant, Arkansas My wife and I have been Priority Club members since 1999 and we stay almost exclusively at Holiday Inn Express. The Inns have always been clean, comfortable and a great value..........UNTIL WE STAYED IN BRYANT, ARKANSAS! Shortly after check-in from a long drive we discovered that the toilet would not flush. I reported the problem to the front desk and the only thing the woman attending the desk (I don't recall her name) did was hand me a plunger. She never even apologized. Plunging did not work. I reported back to the desk that plunging did not work and we now had a full toilet that needed service. She said we could keep the plunger and keep trying to unclog the toilet and she would report it to the maintenance man in the morning. In the meantime we had to use the toilet in the lobby!!!!! She never offered us another room. In the morning at check out I complained to David who was staffing the front desk. David did apologize but also said he could not adjust our bill. This was our first sub-standard stay at any Inn and our first ever complaint. October 20, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Interested staff....... The cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired. Hair on the bathroom floor, counter and sink area. Personal care amenities (body wash, shampoo, conditioner) were only partially stocked in the bathroom. It seemed that whoever cleaned the room prior to our arrival was in a hurry. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom issue was brought to the attention of the management staff. We stay at this particular Holiday Inn Express whenever we travel between Chicago and Houston. The staff was more than eager to resolve our concern(s) and took the room off the availibility list. We'll stay at this location again. October 19, 2012
