We are huge Holiday Inn Express fans, so we were surprised when the one in Buffalo was such a disappointment. The coffee maker in the room didn't work. The breakfast staff didn't show up so the front desk staff was having to scramble to do both jobs. As a result, no coffee available downstairs before we left. Finally, the equipment in the gym was old and inadequate. We like to use an elliptical and that equipment wasn't available. We had stayed in the Hays HIE just the night before and they had set the bar high with breakfast and coffee ready and hot at 5:30AM and a great gym.

We enjoyed the room and pool but were disappointed that continental breakfast did not start until 7 am on Saturday. We were in the area hunting and had to be in the field before dawn so left the motel at 6 am without eating. Had to stop at gas station and grab something to eat.

Very nice staff and great location! We were on our way through the Big Horns to Jackson and stopped in Buffalo. The town is small but firendly and clean. Not much in the way of restaurants but thats ok. The hotel was clean and seemed new. We would stay there again and again on our trips through Wyoming - one of the few great states left! Go Cowboys!

The check in was no good the lady was short and acted like she was doing me a favor. Couldn't answer any questions (no big deal) and didn't offer to help look stuff up. I stayed at 4 consecutive holiday inn properties this trip and this one was the worst.

My stay was a matter of extremes. The staff and everything that was in their control was excellent. Unfortunately, the quality of my stay was ruined by the lousy design of the heating and air conditioning unit in the room. Even when the thermostat control was turned off, the fan in the unit would turn on about every 15 to 30 minutes and was very loud. It made it difficult to watch TV, watch training videos, etc. Getting to sleep and staying asleep were even more difficult.
Since the unit was hard wired into the electrical system and the power switch on the unit itself was disabled, there was no way to silence the annoying fan.
My apologies to the staff but I can't recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a good night's rest.
