The only complaint was the pull out cot. King bed was wonderful but one of us had to use the pullout bed. Wish they would upgrade those.... One person was bearable but everytime you move springs groan and it was a sore morning....

Our family of 4 stayed 2 nights. The staff was very helpful with the tv, with which we needed some assistance. We had a comfortable stay.

We were up from Canada for a shopping trip. The room was relatively clean. The pillows were extremely cheap and uncomforatable. Our toilet plugged completely and when I went down to the front desk all they did was give me a plunger as they had no maintenance people on staff. The breakfast was ok but very busy and hard to find a table. The pool was always out of towels.
I would pass on this hotel and try for something better next time. There are several in the area that have same price.

We were assigned a bottom floor room. The guest/s above us had the TV on way too loud and stomped all over the floor numerous times from 6 PM until 2:45 AM. Then after a short sleep, we were awakened by the slamming of doors from 6 AM on.
If we ever stop there again, it will have to be on the top floor. The so-called Queen bed was only the size of our personal guest room double bed at home.
By far the worst night we ever spent in a hotel.

I arrived early for check-in and was given an upgrade that was completely unexpected. The staff was terrific, particularly Kaya. The room was very nice and the bed extremely comfortable. Great place to stay and convenient too.

I pass through the area many times a year, both with business and family, and I always return here. The staff are great, everything is clean & comfortable. The pool & breakfasts are awesome and keep everyone happy. We return here often and have never had a bad experience. It's like a "second home" when we are traveling.

Second floor suite was really roomy and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff answered all questions quickly and with good knowledge of the area. Great breakfast choices.

I wish hotels that offer breakfast would not use styrofoam. It is just wrong! I try to bring my own dishes. But it's hard to see all that waist.

Happy with my stay. Everything was clean and quiet. Would stay here again. Only issue was had to wait about 10min to check in as there was no one at the front desk. Overall good value.

I always stay here when traveling to Vancouver the next day. The property is about what you would expect from HIX, but the staff is exceptional! They are always friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A lot of higher end hotels could take a page from their book.

I am a frequent guest at the HIX in Burlington. This trip, I had two colleagues traveling with me, and while one was able to make an advance reservation, Tuesday evening 3/19/13 filled up and the second was unable to get in.
Jessica had called me to confirm my reservation, and I asked that if she had any cancellations, to put my friend into one of the rooms. This she did, and while my friend had already lined up alternative accomodations (with a 24 hour cancellation policy), I really appreciate her effort!

Very good visit. There was a young woman on the desk named Catherine. She was super! She was aware we were Priority Club members and offered us a choice of "goody bag stuff". Our room was virtually perfect. I like Holiday Inn's

The Rooms are out dated. if you look at the heater you'll think its from the 70's but the staff was friendly and room was clean the tv was ok and clock was from 80's pillows were old and smelled funny .

My daughter and I stayed over night in one of the suites. It was supposed to have a fireplace and it did, however, there was no flame that you could see. We did have the staff look at it but they could not get it to "flame" like a fireplace should. So that was a waste of extra money. The bed was comfortable as well as the pull out bed. Breakfast was good. We would go back again - maybe not this same room.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a king suite with a separate bedroom which was great for the teens. We thoroghly enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
We will definately stay again!

Check-in, check out was just fine..
I always expect warm cookies and cold milk at 7pm nightly during my stays at Holiday Inn Express, sadly, neither.
Breakfast was average or slightly below average. Found that the juices were all very watered down and the gravy for the biscuits was very, very thin. Toaster simply didn't work.. left the bread in for 5 minutes+, never got toasted.
Pool and hot tub were great!

To start with, when we arrived, they said the only room available was with a king bed. I asked how can 4 people fit on a king bed? They said well there is also a cot. I again asked how can 4 people fit on a king bed and a cot. They said, sorry that's all that is available. We asked how we could make this work with 4 people. The person at the desk finally phoned the person who took the reservation, where she found out there was also a couch which made into a bed. That was a relief. When we went to the room we had to rearrange all the furniture to accommodate the cot and the open couch/bed. Later we wanted to sit in the hot tub for 10 minutes before it was closed. The person at the desk said it was out of order. When we went in and it looked fine and was working. So we just sat on the pool edge and dangled our feet in. At breakfast I wanted pancakes, but the bag was empty. I think I will be staying at the Best Western when I visit Burlington.

My wife and I chose the two room king suite with jetted tub, microwave, refrigerator which was convenient for our ten day stay allowing us to warm up restaurant leftovers. The two rooms with two flat screens allowed each of us to watch whatever we desired (no fighting)...
We took advantage of the breakfast each morning. The food was okay, the dining room clean and the attendent was helpful and kept the place stocked and tidy.

The lobby/ gathering area decorated for Halloween!! I loved relaxing on the comfortable chairs reading early in the morning with my coffee while my husband was sleeping in. Thanks for a great stay!!!!
