Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quite Surprised! As a hospitality executive in Las Vegas, NV, I was quite surprised at the very friendly, approachable and accommodating service. The property was welcoming and well maintained. I have to give a shout out to the overnight front desk agent, Justin, who was genuine in his greetings and inquiries regarding the comfort of my stay. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety to choose from and the lady who maintained the dining room was completely on top of her game in ensuring that the room was clean and keeping the selections filled...never empty or "dried out". My only (negative) comment would be that the hot food was at best ...luke warm. Overall, this was a great experience in comfort and service. May 12, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Management makes a difference This used to be one of our favorite places, not because it was so different from other Holiday Express' we'd been to but because the staff and manager here were so exceptional. We are long standing IHG patrons and have been to this particular destination for a total of 12 nights. Every morning Jonathan was greeting guests and making sure everything was going just right, remembering names and getting to know who you were. If something wasn't right he made it his personal mission to fix it! The Housekeeping staff was great too. Today the hotel has been sold to a new management group and the difference is obvious: no one is there to greet us in the morning, when we inquired about the new manager and when we might see her we were informed she wasn't around much in the mornings (you know... when the guests are there), she has children to take care of. Significant housekeeping personnel have left too, Ms Kent was a breath fresh of air. We used to get our bill under the door on the last day, not this time (we want to bill out our client right away, it's been 3 days since and the website still doesn't show a stay and we can't prepare an invoice). Customer Service makes a BIG difference and it shows whenever it goes or DOWN. May 8, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by wedding stay We booked this room as one of the options for a wedding. I was OK. Nothing outstanding. It looked like maintenance has been neglected. While we were there, it was announced in the local papers that this and two other hotels had been sold. The new owners have promised repairs and upgrades. Did not help our stay. 6-12 months down the road this may be very nice. May 6, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reservations/Stay I made reservations online for a "standard room", when I arrived I had been reserved in a handicap smoking room. Never in my stays @ the Holiday Inn have I ever requested a smoking room. Nor was I warned at the time of my reservation it would be a smoking room. I'm obviously a non-smoker! April 19, 2015
