I checked in and went to go for a swim, when i was in the pool found a died frog it the pool; I remind you this is an indoor pool. The front desk personal had a boy friend or some guy there, they must have been talking for hours. Not the most professional, or the nicest Holiday Inn I have stayed at.

I may have just caught them on a bad day, but at check-in there was only one front desk person on staff and was unable to get into the system. She was on the phone trying to get information on how to access the system. After 20 minutes, she finally got me a room, a smoking room, though my profile specifically requests a non-smoking room. She was unable to switch me due to the difficulties of getting into the system. The manager was out of town and there was no one with experience on the system to help her. The person working the front desk did everything she could to accommodate me, but simply was unable to do so. In addition, she told me that she would be unable to check in drop in guests as they arrive. The room was OK and didn't smell to bad. Breakfast was average at best. From what I could tell, the staff didn't really seem thrilled to be there.

Requested and was placed in a non smoking room. However, the room had a strong smell of smoke. Requested a change of rooms and was told that they could not help me. Also had requested a ground floor room and was placed on third floor. Hotel is not bad, but attention to detail and staff attitude is not good.

I stay at a Holiday Inn property enough to qualify for Platinum. That said, I made the reservation on my phone and arrived to be told that I did not have a room, that they were full! I said there is no way. After pushing the clerk who was on her cell phone and seemed I was taking up her time to help me find another property to move to; she found me a room. The first room was a double and I told her no, that I made a reservation and to cancel my reservation and I would go. She then ask if I would take a king suite. I said yes with a sleepy baby and tired wife and 20 minutes later we have the room I made the reservation for. No apology, no recognition that I should have been upgraded to start with and it was almost like I had taken up too much of their time. I will never stay at this property and would recommend passing on this one!

The desk clerk was not presenting a friendly impression front start to finish. Asked for an upgrade due to platinum status and she said there were none available with even checking. Didn't seem to care. I felt like we were a bother to her. Our room was on the second floor which smelled like there was a skunk loose somewhere. Lastly, the temperature in the room when we entered was at least 80. It took over an hour to cool it down to an appropriate temperature. The staff that checked us out in the morning was pleasant and cordial.

We were traveling through and looking for a place to spend the night.
Staff were friendly and the facility was very clean!
I would recommend this property and will be stopping again on our many adventures across the USA.

This holiday inn had broken equipment ... I am very disappointed in the newer hotels that do not think this is important to hei patrons and invest th money.
The desk clerk in the morning was in the computer room. I exercised outside and forgot the card. I waited 15 minutes - and finally found her.

The Staff at this hotel is outsdanding. Never a bad feeling that you are bothing them, they go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome and they want to help anyway they can. The location is great for what I was there for and the fact that they helped me find a good place to eat showed me they knew the area and the value of good food. I will alway stay in this hotel when I am in that area and could even pick to stay here if I had to dirve 20 or 30 miles to where I needed to work.

It was such a pleasure to be greeted as a platinum member and be upgraded to a suite without even asking! The front desk could not have been nicer or more helpful. She was kind, happy, and provided a smile that we so sorely needed. The room was clean, and comfortable. We did not eat breakfast, as we are very tired of the usual Holiday Inn Express fare,since we are loyal customers. Easy access to interstate. Highly recommend this hotel.

After a long day of travel, we were checked into dirty room. We returned to the desk to be switched to another room where we found everything to be up to our expectations. We put our dinner in the (in room) mini fridge provided and retired for the night. The next morning we found our folio under the door as expected, but found our Priority Club Reward night stay had been charged to our credit card. After calling the front desk to get this issue resolved we went to get our dinner from the mini fridge to heat for lunch and found the fridge not working so all of our food was spoiled. We took these issues to the front desk agent who told us there was nothing she could do for us since we stayed on Priority Club Points! Wow! what a way to treat a Platinum member.

We stayed at this property last August and loved it; for that reason we reserved a room last week when visiting MS.
We were greeted by a very nice young woman when we checked in but when we checked out the woman to whom I handed my "keys" said NOTHING and just starred at me. But I digress.
1) When we got to our room the refrigerator was making a god-awful sound and was not working properly. To their credit they did replace the unit. 2) The air conditioner made a horrible noise all night making sleep very difficult. 3) The breakfast selection was abominable and area and very untidy. There were no eggs of any kind and when asked if there would be any, the attendant looked at me a said "Nope". There was a pancake laying on the counter top and the attendant passed by the area several times and did nothing. I threw it away. Out of the six coffee dispensers, only one had coffee and it was 3/4 empty. The famous HIE cinnamon rolls were stale and just barely warm. I could go on and on about the breakfast but I will sum it up with my wife's quote (and she is MUCH nicer and less critical than I) She said "This is by far the worst breakfast I have ever experienced at any Holiday Inn Express" I looked for the breakfast attendant and found him out joking with the same desk clerk that ignored me at check out. I gave up and left. We ended up eating breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

Have stayed there several nights three times in the last month. Comfortable, convenient and reasonable cost. Last visit I needed to extend my stay and they refused. (I'm a gold member) So I moved to another hotel and subsequently have stayed at the new place 6 nights. Will not return to HIE because they do not accommodate the needs of their best customers.

Price quite high for property in the middle of nowhere.
Nice new property.
Had a crew in from US Ecological? that was training in the area.
Breakfast area was like being in a junior high school locker room.
Very loud with no manners and the crowd certainly kept some guests out. Most were done eating and just killing time.
At some point staff has to step-up and ask the group to keep it down or arrange a private area for them.

This is the second time I have stayed at this location and the second time they have fallen short. I will not talk about the 1st stay since it was a year ago. This stay was more dissapointing. First the tredmill in the fitness center had a sign on it saying it was broken when I arrived, when I left 4 days later it was still broken, there is just no excuse for this if you offer a service to your customer you need to maintain it, period. The other issue I had was the fact that they removed all of the vending machines (vending signs still up) and installed a "nice" little store for your convenience. The problem is they were charging $2.14 for a 16.9oz coke. It is bad enough to pay $1.50 or even $2.00 from a vending machine for a 20oz coke but $2.14 is just a plain rip off and just sends a very poor message. I had little choice but pay the $2.14 and had to wait for the associate to finish checking in a customer. This just is not a customer focused location and I will not return to it. The last note is other hotels in the area offer a managers cocktail period each night (this property used to) so there are just better properties real close that go the extra mile and this one just does not.

I stayed at the hotel while on business travel. After a tiresome day of driving I was greeted very courteously by the Front Desk Representative. I was also pleasantly surprised when I got to the room. The decor was amazing and spacious. I also went to the fitness room and all of the equipment was very well-maintained and clean. The amenities were wonderful and facility was very clean. I will most definitely stay at this location each time I come to this area....Great Experience!!!!!!

This Holiday Inn Express is one of the best that I have experienced. I travel extensively for work and I try to use Holiday Inn Express whenever I can. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends.
The fitness center is sub-par. The aerobic equipment was either broken (treadmill) or almost broken. The equipment in this area was not maintained well at all. I rated good for "able to relax" because of this.
The hotel does not have vending machines which in itself is not bad however the snacks and drinks available at the front desk were extremely over priced. A 20 oz. Coke was $2.41.
I wouldn't consider either of these deal breakers. The hotel itself and staff make up for the two of these

This hotel is maintaining it's new status. Clean and fresh. Excellent free parking. Could improve on their breakfast in compairson to other H I Express I've stayed at. When in this area I would not think twice about booking this Inn. It's where I'll be.
