Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Even with a hotel full of teenagers The stay was great, there was little to no noise from within or out the hotel. The space was cleaner than in the past; the front desk personnel were more attentive than in the past. The towels were a little flat. Due to the number of guests in the hotel, the outside garbage cans were overflowing and should have been attended to earlier. I view this as a one-time event considering there were two bus loads of band members staying at the hotel. October 15, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Stay While I paid a high amount for this room because of the UWV game against Oklahoma, I was concerned that a lot of fans staying there would be noisy upon their return. My wife and I were just passing through so all we really needed was a peaceful nights rest. I'm happy to say that we both slept that night. We also received an excellent recommendation from the front desk staff for an Italian restaurant a few miles away. It wasn't too easy to find but we did enjoy a wonderful meal. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by The Pillows are the best in the business! The overall experience was good. The front desk was very personable and friendly. The security latch was broken on the door to the room I had, but the actual door locked, and I felt safe in the hotel. My biggest problem was the inability to turn the air conditoner down lower than 72. The weather was very hot and humid and being unable to turn the air down past 72 made sleeping conditions uncomfortable. The pillows are the absolute best in the business and I wish I could own a set in my home! September 24, 2014

And kids really enjoyed the heated pool on a school night! Rooms were in mint condition and front desk was always willing to provide anything we had forgotten! I also noticed that the Byram police did routine drive thru checks on hotel parking lot..Good job Byram Holiday Inn Express! September 7, 2014

Often we travel to visit elderly family in MS and now we will recommend that our family reside at Holiday Inn Express. Each morning at breakfast we were warmly greeted and assistance was quickly available for any questions. My husband and I loved our room and the bed was very comfortable! The swimming pool was also relaxing and the staff, absolutely the best!! Thanks for making our family feel as if we were at a luxury reaort and were VIP's. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Will stay again when in the area! We only stay at Holiday Inn Express, that being said, this property was extremely clean, comfortable, and has very friendly staff. The only concern we had was getting to the property from the highway, maybe increase signage once off highway! Next time when we head down to the Gulf and need to spend the night on the way, we will definitely be back! Thank you for a great night's rest after a long day of driving. July 20, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable stay Overall, the hotel is very clean and comfortable. Offers free wifi always a plus and decent cable offerings. Drawbacks-- the cleaning staff starts at 9:30 and is unreasonably noisy even if you put a do not disturb sign on door you will still be awaken by their activities in other rooms. Not sure why the breakfast ends at 9:30 extending meal for at least an hour is not unreasonable for those who are traveling for leisure and are not on a clock. July 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Breakfast on a budget They must be on a budget! At breakfast they were out of the cinnamon rolls and this was at 6:00 am. Another guest told me it was the same the day before.Come on- this is Holiday Inn trade mark! Then they set out only 4 USA today papers. Gone fast. I think I would have sent someone out to the local store for rolls, instead of telling the guest that they had used the inventory for that week the past weekend. July 13, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by overall conditions For the most part,we had a very enjoyable visit.But our closet was way too small(we were there for a church convention with dress clothes and suites for 4 days)not enough room to hang our stuff!The AC had a rattle,it cooled the room well,but just made a lot of noise.Also the room needed more light.(could hardly see how to get dressed!The adjoining property was badly grown up with weeds and etc. looked really bad! Room was a double, though alone was charged for a more expensive rate than a single. Beds were WORN out! Matresses have not been at least turned over, swells. June 9, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Customer Service Upon check in I felt that the associate was extremly rude. When going to try to find a place for dinner that evening same associate was somehwat friendlier but had zero knowldge of the area. I had reserved the meeting room and charged an astronomical amount of money for a very poorly equipped room, it did not meet our needs. The tables provided were only about 12 inches wide and this did not provide adequate work space for notebooks, laptops etc. I had requested a board room which I was told they could accomodate. The hotel overnight rooms themselves were clean and updated. The last day of the visit we were literally "kicked out" of the breakfast area. The staff member didn't ask us politely to leave but said as she pointed her finger at the door "ya'll need to get out". There were only two of us in there discussing business then we were told that we weren't allowed to sit in the extremely small lobby. We were then referred to the public library or a very poorly ventilated and cramped business center. The hotel manager ran around in skin tight blue jeans and high heeled to the knee boots. Very unsatisfactory experience, will never stay here again! February 27, 2014

The breakfast is limited and not appealing like other locations but the clean atmosphere makes up for it. When I checked in, the front desk could not add my reservation to my Club membership but the morning staff did at checkout. February 12, 2014

Eggs, bacon, sausage all cooked and not greasy. The two people working the breakfast were so personable and kind. This was a great experience and I will stay here again! February 1, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Needs improvement Although this property was convenient for our visit to the area, we were disappointed in our stay. Having had a recent stellar experience at a Holiday Inn Express in another state, we assumed that the Holiday Inn Express Byram would at least meet the minimum requirements of the chain. We were guests for three nights. Upon on our return the evening of the second night, we discovered that our room had not been cleaned, and no, the do not disturb sign had not been left on the door. We brought this to the attention of the front desk, and were at least given clean towels. However, we feel that we did not receive what we paid for. We attempted to speak to the management about adjusting our bill to reflect this lack of service when we checked out. We were advised to call back and speak to the manager the following Monday morning. That was more than 48 hours ago and we have yet to be contacted. Our advice to anyone needing lodging in this area would be to stay elsewhere until this property resolves their obvious poor housekeeping and management issues. December 4, 2013
