I have been using Holiday Inns for 15 years through my business and do hundreds of stays per year. I was very disappointed with my stay at the Cadillac Holiday Inn. No phones - internet slow and working off and on - no acknowledgement that I was a Priority member - my price went from $120.00 - $88.00 by mistake because the lady at the desk didn't know how to handle the computer. The breakfast bar opened at 6:30 instead of 6:00
for some reason. No perks for being a customer. Very little service from the staff who seemed to be pre occupied with other things. No muffins or cookies in the foyer. Felt very unwelcomed.
Made aware of the lack of phones after I booked the room. Exercise room had supplies in it. The hotel did not live up to the standard of Holiday Inn you expect as a paying customer.
Too many other hotel options out there to be this sloppy with your hotel.

I stay here all of the time. I like this place, they have gotten to know me. I like the hot tub and the pool, I wouldn't stay if there wasn't a hot tub. The surrounding are is fine, I just wish there were more dining options within walking distance of the hotel. Obviously Holiday Inn has no control over this. Like I said, I am here all of the time and will continue to stay with them.

The hotel was full of young kids on a hockey playoff weekend. We love kids but parents/hotel staff allowed them to run around like wild indians, play indoor hockey in the stairwells, run up and down always screaming and slamming doors. This went well into the evening, beyond 9;00 pm. Didn't appear as the hotel management was going to try and do anything to quit the place down.
It's great for kids to play but we don't understand why the families were'nt put on the first and second floor and leave other guest on the third floor for peace, quit and relaxation like they pay for.
Truly disappointed, worst stay we've ever had a Holiday Inn or any other motel for that matter. Truly hope we don't experience anything similar to that again.

This motel is one of the top ones for Holiday Inn Express.
Our room was very spacious and the pool for the children was just right! Breakfast was normal Holiday Inn Express fare which suits our family just right!

I've been staying at this hotel on and off for the past month for work. I had requested 1st floor for one of the weeks while I was there and did not get it. When I asked the front desk clerk, she replied, "we are almost full and I did not assign room numbers today."
Breakfast needs to be replenished more and have more choices. There is not even any flavored creamers. When your hotel is full, you need to have someone in the breakfast area making sure the guests are taken care of.
Cadillac area got a lot of snow while I was there and the guy who plows did not do a great job. Also, the sidewalk to the back door was never shoveled. One day we were up to our knees in snow with dress clothes on. Nice to have wet pants all day for work.

Although great service and staff, did not find hotel to be price competitive.

I stay at this hotel about 10-15 times per year. The hotel is very consistent and offer a great value. The front desk personnel are always friendly and always respond to special requests. They try their best to accommodate. This is very much appreciated.
I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

Breakfast food variety could be better, example no bannas were offered.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Cherias AWARD NIGHTS ?? Shouldn't they seem like a great value?
I'm truly sorry to say this, but this was my worst experience at a Holiday Inn property. To make it even worse, I used my Award points for it:( when I made the reservations.)
We were there for 3 nights.
First of all, I booked a queen suite from the Priority Club website, queen bed and a sofa/sleeper. My thought was it would be nice to have the sitting area to visit and watch TV during the day. That didn't happen. We got the typical room with 2 queen beds, even though there were only the 2 of us and it was not what I had reserved. I should have said something right then but didn't, my first mistake. I didn't want to cause a fuss, the hotel was full.
The next inconvenience, the ice machine didn't work.....on our floor(3rd), so we went down the the first floor for ice. That one was empty! Are you kidding me! OK, the second floor had ice.
EVERY NIGHT when we returned to our room the key cards didn't work!! The desk said it was because I was using award nights! Really?
Breakfast? Each morning, all 3 mornings, the sausage tray was empty, the last morning I got the last few pieces to make him a breakfast sandwich.
The tub drained really slow.
The last issue; the door at the end of the building, closest to our room, furthest away from the lobby door; well, it only worked for the first day.
The good part, the room was clean, bed was comfortable, linens were great as is usual Holiday Inn standard and what I've come to expect.
This facility just isn't up to par with what I've come to expect from Holiday Inn. The fact that I used my Award Nights just added insult to injury:( it didn't feel like an award at all.

We cannot express how pleased we were with the Holiday Inn Express. We had a bad day while traveling and your staff could not have been more helpful in helping us to relax. At 10:00PM we received a phone call from the front desk telling us the windows were down in our car and it was raining. Another guest told them about this and they called us to let us know. Our car was soaked but we are so very grateful for them notifying us. It was a problem with the electronic system in the car. However, the seats were soaked. The next morning the staff in the eating area gave us some plastic trash bags to cover our seats with so we did not have to sit on the wet seats. We were on our way back to Texas and had a long trip ahead of us. I did not get names of these people that helped us but we are truly thankful to all of them.
The place was very clean and attractive and we will stay again if we happen to be in that area.

The Young lady working the desk was able to get us in our room earlier than check in so we could freshen up and dress for a wedding . Her efforts were appreciated after a 3.5 hour drive.
