Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by All good with the exception of the one bed. Great quick and easy breadfast. Pleasant staff. One of the two queen beds that we had definitely had a leaning slope to it. While not visibly noticible you could definitely tell it after laying on it for a short period of time. My husband slept ok but I found it very uncomfortable and had lack of sleep. If we were staying more than two nights I would have definitely asked to be switchced to another room. I told the front desk about it when we checked out. I hope they looked into this problem. Breakfast was never totally available until 6:15 though it was posted as being available at 6:00am. I know this may seem like a small thing, but I found it very aggravating and it started my day off on the wrong foot. June 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Don't Judge a Book By It's Cover I was not totally impressed with the area when I arrived, but was so impressed when I went inside. The rooms are beautiful (with windows that even open a little bit!). The staff was so friendly and wonderful. While it's right on a highway, it is really close to the T to be able to travel and you can walk to many places. I would certainly return! June 16, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and comfortable room I had a weeklong stay for business and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the room was for that length of time. I appreciated the mini fridge and microwave and especially the free WiFi. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room decor gave it a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the hotel and I would definitely stay there again for future business trips. June 10, 2014

Only took us 30 minutes to walk into Boston (Quincy Market), Nice Shaw's grocery store next door open until 12 am Recommend stay away from 4:00pm Friday traffic if trying to drive to Logan airport, it is a parking lot. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient to Universities The Holiday Inn Express Cambridge is convenient to the Universities via Shuttle Service. The Green Line Lechmere T stop is located 4 blocks away on Hwy 28, Monsignor O'Brien Hwy, . Overall the hotel is clean, pleasant and nicely decorated with new furniture and fixtures. Parking is convenient and included. It is a bit pricey $$$. however they do offer a "University" discount for those who know to ask. June 4, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel, but not a convenient location This is a very nice hotel, with nice amenities and decent parking, but it is in a combination residential-light industrial/commercial area, so there are not many places nearby at night to eat, unless you go into the city. Street construction is going on, so there was a lack of adequate street signs to help us get to the hotel, which is Cambridge's fault, not Holiday Inn. The room was large and modern, with updated amenities, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. June 3, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by King room nice and roomy! Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel. The majority of the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We truly appreciated the water with orange slices available in the lobby as well as fresh fruit offerings. The coffee was delicious and available in the dining room. The only negative was the AC unit in the room. If we set the thermostat a bit higher it was like the heater came on. Otherwise we were comfortably cool. If we do return to Boston we will choose this hotel again. It was within walking distance to the transit system, drugstore & grocery store as well. June 2, 2014

We paid a reduced wedding block rate, which I thought was reasonable for this area. All the wedding guests who stayed here agreed that the rooms were really nice. The hotel staff were also very nice and helpful and the breakfast was also quite adequate. It was the usual hotel breakfast but it was presented very well and everybody in our group was very happy with it. The hotel was reasonably close to a T stop so we were able to get around Boston without using our cars. I would be happy to stay here again. May 10, 2014

But that changed after I settled in and understood the location better and the closeness of the subway which was an excellent, though noisy, way of getting into and around the city. The staff were very helpful and the facilities, including the breakfast was what I expected from this hotel group. My only comment is that I would have preferred to increase the room heat a little but adjusting the thermostat seemed to achieve little. April 13, 2014

I feel that this should be checked by housekeeping as they clean the room. I don't use alarm clocks ever (Cell phone era!) so I never check this...guess I will have to now. March 23, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable, good service, confusing and limited parking My experience at the hotel was great except for two things. One, I reserved a king and was given a double. I didn't bother asking heading back down to the front desk because it wasn't worth it. Second, parking was extremely limited and I had to park across the street at the last spot available in the "overflow" lot. The overflow lot is across a busy street that isn't that easy to cross. If you aren't driving, this place is great. But if you are, I can only imagine what it's like during a busy time. Otherwise, breakfast was a really great and pleasant surprise. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by weekend in Boston The hotel is easy to find and well positioned to tour both Boston and Cambridge (by foot or public transport). Although it was extremely cold the hotel was nice and warm.. The room was clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. Pretty good value for the area I think and met all my requirements. Breakfast was a little bit better than the Holiday Express average fare in my opinion. February 1, 2014
