I stayed at the Holiday Inn - Cambridge, MD for one night on a stopover enroute to Baltimore. The highlight of my stay was the front desk clerk, who not only greeted me by name but remembered me from my last stay. What a pleasure it is to be greeted! She was also there the next morning when I checked out, and gave me a wonderful smile and asked how everything was. I don't recall her name but she was African American and just a pleasant individual. The room was very clean, especially the sink area and tub area. I very much appreciated having a refrigerator and luggage rack in the room, which is often rare unless requested. The only issue I had was the lack of hot water for my morning shower - the water was very warm but not hot. The water pressure was quite good though. All in all, it was a very good experience.

My Grand Kids and I have been coming for the last three years to see the refuge full of ducks and geese. The HI Express works great for our stay. The pool is a favorite for them. The ride to Blackwater is short. The breakfast works real well for them. Good for me ,also.

I have stayed here many times, from days to weeks at a time. The hotel is consistently comfortable, clean, and offers good amenities. The staff (especially Corina!) is exceptional, courteous, and helpful.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful! Breakfast during the week started at 6:30, which was great, since I had to be out at 7am. Great food choices! The hotel was extremely clean! And the room did not smell of smoke, since it is 100% smoke free!! There is a complimentary shuttle that will take you anywhere within 3 miles. I was there for my NCLEX-RN exam at Pearson Vue (2 miles away) and they dropped me off and picked me up! It was a great relief to not have to worry about driving or a cab on that stressful day! Just inquire at the front desk :)

Its nice to see that a better variety of breakfast choices has returned, as well as freshley baked cookies. Please consider getting rid of the pancake machine. I have stayed weekly since July and have never seen it wook yet.

We enjoyed our stay at theoliday Inn in Cambridge, the room was well appointed and comfortable and you had a fitness center. About the only item I see that could be improved is the equipment in the fitness room. Having a stationary bike and a treadmill is fine, however, an ellypical machine and maybe some free weights would be very helpful. As a traveler, having some of this equipment really makes it nice to have a workout when you are on the road.
