When I checked in, I was given a room which wasn't cleaned. The staff switched me to another room immediately, but the room had a very strong mold smell through out my entire stay. May 19, 2015

Upon arrival in Camden AR for our grandson's wedding festivities, we were under a tornado watch---the staff gave us instructions if the watch turned into a warning. Our room was very comfortable, quiet and located near the "gathering areas" for our family. Staff made coffee, juice, milk and cookies for us as we gathered in the breakfast area each night- They also put up with our noise as many games of cards were played. They were so attentive to our needs for personal items and linens. Our stay was so EASY! No hassle! We have stayed here before and can not complain about anything for any of our three stays! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great place to stay I can't say enough about the management and staff at HIE Camden. We had a very large party staying for a wedding. They were so welcoming, kind, and hospitable to all of us and helped with anything we needed. They even made extra cookies and coffee in the evenings after we returned from our events - did I mention there was a huge group?? Breakfast was good. Rooms were fairly well updated and very clean. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a hotel...great night's sleep! April 16, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not at all like any Holiday Inn Express I've stayed in before! The property was clean and the staff friendly. However when I got to my room, I thought I had checked into a low priced motel The room had been "remodeled" and their idea of updating the bathroom was to paint the marble counter! No gravy for the biscuits in the morning, something I have gotten very used to in my travels (about 200 nights a year). When I looked at the notice on the back of my room door, I noticed that I was being charged 50% more than the "maximum room rate" on the form. I brought this to the attention of the front desk and it was corrected. I wonder how many other guests get nailed? Overall, it was not the best experience I've had at a Holiday Inn Express!
