I was very surprised at how convenient the location was to get to, and how clean and new the hotel was. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Brand New Hotel with No WiFi I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Pittsburgh because it was close to where my meeting was taking place. I was in the city a week for work. The internet (wi-fi) did not work the entire time I was at the hotel. Hotel staff had technicians onsite trying to fix the issue, but unfortunately they were unable to resolve the problem. Because of this I could not use my laptop in my hotel room at all and had to rely on cellular usage for my phone if I needed internet access in the hotel. Otherwise, I just worked at Starbucks or somewhere else. November 18, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel but needs improvement I stayed at the hotel for one night. I had numerous problems with the reservation process as I had made reservations for several other people. It took numerous phone calls to get the situation straightened out. The hotel in new and very nice, the breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfortable. However, both my husband and I took a lukewarm shower in the morning. Upon checkout, I was told that there was no manager on duty but the desk clerk took my name and phone number and assured me that someone would call me the next day. I'm still waiting for that call. Overall, not happy. There are many other hotels in the area and I will be staying elsewhere from now on. November 12, 2014
