Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel with great service Staff as always pleasant and helpful. Room very clean and comfortable although on a personal note the bed could do with being a bit firmer, the toilet a bit higher and not such a high step into the shower. The breakfast was plentiful and kept being filled up with fresh warm food. Noise level from outside is a problem here being next to the A2 but after a couple of nights we found we did not notice it too much. Good access to all local amenities. February 23, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 All in all a nice place to stay Good location for travellers to Dover to rest overnight before sailing. The food and choice is good and the staff are excellent. The rooms are en-suite and very comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities and TV although I could only find the channel listing and not the actual programmes February 16, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy Hotel Located on the A2 a car ride away from Canterbury. Some proofing is poor, Noise from the busy road, noise from adjacent rooms and if you are on ground floor then footsteps from room above. Dining area has been updated recently so is quite smart. Unfortunately the carpets going upstairs and in parts of communal areas upstairs are threadbare. The comfort of the mattress is lousy too. Good shower pressure. Wifi does drop out on occasion. Staff are generally quite pleasant. February 10, 2015
