Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poop in Pool Stayed at the hotel for access to the indoor pool and while there a littlle kid pooped in the pool, it took both days that we stayed to get the poop out and we did not get to enjoy the pool with our grandchildren. February 10, 2016

In town for 2-day conference, chose HIE Canton for both proximity to conference and the nice selection of restaurants and other services in the area. Very clean and quiet, even with a large number of guests that night. Room was comfortable, able to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast area had full selection and was well stocked, the food staff was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. This will be my first choice when I stay in this area again. February 9, 2016

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by The Bed Was Great & The Rest Failed Miserably! This was a pleasure trip for me. As a Retail Manager who just survived the Holidays with multiple 60 hour work weeks, I wanted to Treat Myself to a overnight stay with a LARGE Jacuzzi Tub and Indoor Heated swimming pool. I needed to heal! 1) The King Jacuzzi Suite room with a sofa I rented online was not available as per the representative. He indicated that my room was apparently given to another despite my Paid With A Credit Card Reservation! 2) The Heated Indoor Swimming Pool, the second main reason I got this room, was drained. The Representative looked me in the eye and promised me the pool would be filled and running in an hour or two. Eight hours later the pool was still two feet from being filled. I came for the heated pool but was unable to use it. Anyways I refused the tiny room with the standard uncomfortable wooden chair. I wanted and paid for a Suite with a Sofa and Jacuzzi Tub! The Representative smiled, apologized, said the right things, none of which were true! He stated that my next visit HE WOULD PERSONALLY ASSURE I GOT THE ROOM I WANTED AND IT WOULD BE COMPLEMENTARY. I made the reservation for today, Monday January 25, 2015 and returned to Canton for Much Needed Rest & Relaxation! Today I was told: 1) I had no reservation; 2) There is no such thing as a "King Jacuzzi Suite room with a sofa" at this location; 3) The Representative I previously dealt with was not at work today. While the Staff present were kind and courteous, they could not give me a King Jacuzzi Suite as there are none at this location! So I thanked them and went home. Needless to say I am not happy. No one from the hotel has contacted me within the promised 48 hours as per IHG guidelines! They have instead removed the inaccurate photo as well as removing the word "sofa" from the website as I suggested. The room also did not have a dining table with two chairs. That is still posted as a feature. I am still wanting to get away to somewhere with a heated indoor pool with a King Jacuzzi Suite. Staff could have helped me find one somewhere in the IHG Family of Hotels. No one has yet helped. Disappointing Experience! January 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Reserved room disappeared then miraculously reappeared Me and my family travel quite a bit and have stayed at Holiday Inn Express's . On this trip we made reservations for a double room . When we arrived I was told there were no double rooms available and that he only has King suite available with a pullout couch. I asked him if he had ever slept on a pull out? He replied yes it's not that bad.Well I said that's unacceptable,we reserved a double room. I then made the suggestion to let me have two King rooms for the price of a double. He said he would have to call someone to approve it.He went back beyond site with his "CELL" phone. Then came back and said he does have double room. ??????. Did it miraculously become available? If I weren't so tired and it wasn't so late I would have gone elsewhere. But you can be sure I won't be staying at Holiday Inn Express any more! By the way this was in Canton Georgia. January 24, 2016
