One maid was particularly friendly--she has five daughters. She went out of her way to help my sister with her grandson's needs. Lovely person who deserves a promotion. Our maid (room 119) wasn't particularly nice and acted as if it were a pain to take care of us. She deserves counseling.

We enjoyed our stay there for a week. The management has a very good staff there. It was very clean and orderly. The 5 was just there close by to get around nicely. The beach was not that far away., 5 minutes or less. We enjoyed the good Mexican food nearby.
I would stay there again.

The staff is wonderful and the accomodations excellent. I hate to say it because then maybe next time I want to stay they will be all booked up. I have family nearby and always stay here when I visit. I have always been very pleased. The on site manager, Andrew, really knows how to run the place so everything runs smooth and tight and everybody is happy. Very friendly atmosphere.

This hotel was the best we discovered three years ago. Whenever in southern California we look forward to staying here. It is a very up to date, very clean, very comfortable hotel with a staff that is second to none. Andrew the manager, and Hollie the sales manager made our stay extra special. They go above and beyond to please their guests. We are already looking forward to returning in the Fall!

Clean Room, comfortable beds. Spent 2 nights, room service to full expectation. Perfect for family stay with our 2 kids. Close enough to Legoland and near several kid friendly dining options.

Great customer service, our crew worked at night so the staff made sure we weren't disturbed during the day , always accommodating and we had everything we needed for our stay.

It was beyond what I expected, the room was just spectacular. I wish all holiday inn's looked as amazing as this one. The decor is so modern and comfortable. The bed was extremely soft too :) Even the lobby and halls are noteworthy in this holiday inn. Impressed!

Manager Andrew is great and always remembers you and is so
accomodating. I appreciate all his extra efforts!
Great location so close to the 5 and beaches!
Highly recommend a stay there.

Easy location off the freeway and just down the road to the beach.
Great value and for those with small-mid size pets they are pet friendly with a very reasonable one time fee for the whole visit.
Lobby and reception area is nice and bright. wifi available. Free breakfast is very convenient and the staff is pleasant but non intrusive so you feel very relaxed there . . Just like home.
Btw for those who need a quick meal, there is a small Mexican take out right next door. The 0.99 fish tacos are awesome!

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express at Cardiff by the Sea was a great experience when it comes to value and service. Holly gave us personal attention, along with a great location, exceptional dinner and a wonderful stay. We will stay at this location again.

The front desk staff was wonderful. They recognized me whenever I walked past the front desk and asked pertinent questions about my day and my travels in the area. I clearly was not "just another guest" to them!!
