This is a nicely maintained place. It is a very good airport hotel. Clean and good value. Easy and complimentary transportation to Old Market District for a nice steak dinner.
A good mattress, but a mismatch for me...I don't like hard/firm. Not their fault!
The breakfast was very good, not just because it was complimentary, but because it had nice choices (from omelet to cereal to yogurt).
I pass through the airport often and will change over from a nearby inn which has gone up in prices--the HI_Express is now the preferred choice for me.

The staff went out of there way to help us have a great stay!!! Room and entire property were outstanding. The hotel honestly looked like it was brand new, but I was told by the staff that it is more than 5-8 years old. Very pleased, and would gladly stay here again in the future!

If you want a hotel where staff sleeps on the lobby furniture instead of answering the phone, where the hot breakfast foods are still refrigerator cold, where the coffee is watery and bitter, where the rooms are not soundproof enough to stop the music from a bar a half mile away from vibrating the windows, where the window heater/AC unit does not work until you unplug it and replug it back in and even then it rattles so loudly that you cannot sleep, this is the place for you. By all means.. stay here if you want a bad room and horrible service. As platinum members we asked for a top floor but were denied.... even though we were told the hotel was not full. So had to listen to thudding overhead most of the night. Corporate should immediately strip this property of the HIE name... this building and staff is an embarrassment to the hospitality industry.

I arrived many hours late and exhausted thanks to flight delays. Entered at about 1 a.m. To a friendly desk clerk who checked me in a flash and off to bed I went with a crash. It was a smooth, brief, and friendly process. I was grateful.
