Enjoyed the spaciousness of the room and real queen beds instead of doubles! The fitness center equipment seemed to be in variable service, and pool was closed in morning when I went down. Getting tired of the same lemon scents in toiletries!

I don't write many reviews anymore as I travel a lot for business staying at IHG hotels and Holiday Inn Express' all around the country. I just don't have time to write one for each, but when one stands out, I will let people know. Also, it USED to be that you got a couple hundred points for writing a review, but they don't do that anymore so the incentive is only driven by outstanding performance or lack thereof.....for me anyway.
This location in Stoneybrook has quickly become one of my favorites. Sometimes checking in during the wee hours of the morning, I am always greeted with a warm, cheerful smile. Never once forgetting to recognize me as a IHG member, I love the friendly and warm nature of the staff when arriving after a long day of work and travel.
The professional and friendly staff is always eager to assist in anything I may need and continues to remind me they are available to assist. Rooms are consistently clean and quiet. Beds are always relaxing and comfortable making for a wonderful refreshing stay. The grounds are always neat and clean with lovely landscaping and a Koi pond to relax by. Although I have never utilized it, they have many other nice amenities outside in order to cook out, practice some putting or play some volleyball, just a few of the enjoyable features of this location.
The only detractor I note is one which I hold a firm stance on with ALL Holiday Inn Express'. Can we do something about the scrambled eggs please?? The powdered eggs I had while I was in the Marine Corps years ago were tinted green, but I tell you, they were a fair shade better than what we get now at HIE's these days. ....but I digress....
Overall, I love this location and the warn feeling I get from the staff and the surroundings. Coming down here from New Hampshire 2 or 3 times per month, I feel this location is easily becoming my Home Away from Home.

Despite that it is less expensive than comparable area hotels, the experience was quite nice. Amenities include a large indoor pool, and very large grounds including spacious playground, golf (sorta) and a ball field. Breakfast was very nice, Internet worked well, beds comfortable. No complaints except for the person next door who felt they needed to shower at 11:45 PM
