Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice rooms and great breakfast We were visiting relatives in the Durham area and found this Holiday Inn Express on our mobile website. We had a very nice, comfy room which was clean, quiet and well supplied. Breakfast was one of the best we've had at a HIE. My only complaint was that when we checked in we asked for the AAA rate and the person at the desk (it was a Sunday afternoon) said that they usually didn't give the AAA rate so we were given the website "best available" rate. The AAA rate was lower than the best available and if we had booked it online, we would have been able to get that rate! Strange, especially since we'd told him we were priority gold members. When I have an opportunity to work anywhere in the Chapel Hill/Durham area, I choose this hotel even though others may be closer to the clients I am working with. March 12, 2013

Clean, neat rooms and premises, most excellent breakfast value. There are other hotels which are closer to my purpose for visiting, but I choose to stay here. January 2, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice accomodating staff, quiet, clean Yes the beds are comfy, and the location is good-- convenient to Chapel Hill (UNC) and Durham. The nice part is that it is quiet. I don't know if the walls are double-thick or what but sleeping is always easy. The only slight complaint I'd make is the scrambled eggs, which are not very tasty and kind of watery. Love the cheese omelets and wish they would have them every day! November 8, 2012

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice place My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but we thought they had a shuttle. The taxi, which we were told was their choice, was twenty bucks into town, 4-5 miles, and twenty bucks back, same route. Needless to say, we drove ourselves to dinner and back! Plus, we thought the spin the wheel thing a the front desk was a little weird. I got chips! I told the manager I'd take the 250 points instead!:) October 16, 2012
