Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Experience! I stayed here on business in April of 2016. This was the best Holiday Inn Express experience I've had in a very long time. Parking lot was clean, well lit, safe and convenient. Front desk staff was very attentive and courteous. Room was EXTREMELY clean and I was impressed with how fresh it smelled the moment I walked in. Hotel was booked solid but I didn't have any problems with noise. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and I slept like a rock all night. Exercise facility had newer, quality equipment and I had a great workout. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options and good coffee. I really don't know how the stay could have been any better. Kudos to the manager who obviously takes a lot of pride in this property. Book without hesitation. Highly recommended!! April 14, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel - no gluten-free breakfast options The hotel was immaculate, the staff was friendly and engaging. Plenty of parking and easy to locate for non-locals. I appreciated the easy-to-access electrical plug beside the bed for my CPAP - thank you! About the electrical outlets - a minor issue was accessing an electrical outlet while seated at the desk. The was no outlet on the desk lamp, and the only plug I could find was under the desk, so I had to pull the desk out. Not a big deal, but apparently many others had the same trouble, because one leg of the desk was almost completely wrung off! My only complaint with the breakfast is lack of gluten-free options. My family has some dietary restrictions, so gluten-free muffins, bagels, or bread for toast would have been a TREMENDOUS boost for us. April 2, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not my best experience with Holiday Inn Express The room rates were high for the quality of this hotel. Our bathroom smelled like mold and was very unpleasant and the carpet was filthy. Normally we would have asked to move to another room but we had our 7 yr. old grand daughter with us who had just been discharged from UNC Children's hospital and we did not want to move her as just the ride from the hospital to the hotel had been difficult for her on the day of discharge. The fitness room is lacking as there was nothing more than one bike, two treadmills and an elliptical machine. The bike seat needed repaired making it difficult to use. The breakfast was ok but too many high carb choices for my taste. The staff members were very pleasant. March 31, 2016
