The staff was courteous, the hotel and room were clean, and a good choices for breakfast. Most importantly it was quiet, no circus going on in the rooms next door or in the hallway. We would stay there again if we go back to Charleston.

Our room had so much dust on the wall the bed was on it was disgusting. I have never enjoyed standing in water, as I shower, but this was the case in our room.

Friendly staff and comfortable , ample rooms made this a good family oriented hotel that was well located for access to downtown and local amenities like drug stores,restaurants ( fast food and family style places). Quiet even though the hotel was nearly filled. This certainly fit our needs and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Easy arrival from -I95 via I- 526 coming in and leaving which was a benefit for early am departure.Good Wi FI easy to connect.

We had a very nice two-room suite. However it was flanked by the ice machine and the elevator. Needless to say it was hard to sleep.
The desk staff said they were sorry, but offered nothing more.
We have stayed at this property many times, but will think long and hard about booking it again.

Our recent stay at this hotel was very good. The location was good for going into Charleston and Summerville. The staff was very friendly when checking in and with questions the following day regarding local information/directions. We used the fitness center each day. The breakfast was okay for complimentary. The only negative thing would be the beds could be more comfortable other than that it was great. I would recommend.

The staff was the key ingredient in our very enjoyable stay. Octavia on the evening shift was most gracious and knowledgeable. Her knowledge of where to go and driving instructions were good, and she had several discount coupons for local attractions.
My wife and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel in mid-March 2013. It is some what removed from the downtown area, but it is a quick car ride in into the center city. It's extremely convenient (but a fair distance) if you're going to Patriot Point , Mt Pleasant and/or Isle of Palms.

I really enjoyed staying here and would recommend this hotel. If you are staying in Charleston this is a good location and not too far from the center city right down 17. It is a good location and great value.

It's a Holiday Inn Express and the experience is what I expect from this chain of hotels. The location is good, rather easy access to downtown but certainly not in the center of everything. Lots of food options close by if you choose not to head downtown. We visit this area at least once a year and I would stay here again upon our return.

Octavia was amazing. First she checked us in and when our tv was only showing b/w she came up and ensured we had color tv. always done with the best of attitudes . . . she made the stay "personal."
The property was great and lots of great restaurants were very, very close!

We had booked a suite which indeed had two separate rooms and two TV's. Most other places put a sofa in the room and call it a suite. Only problem was a glass paneled door separated the room so light still came in but that's really nitpicking on my part. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel is 5 miles from center of Charleston. Ruby Tuesday restaurant next door. Wonderful place at reasonable price.

We were extremely satisfied with our recent stay. My husband had traveled for 37 years on business, nationally and internationally. We've vacationed in Europe many times so have lots of hotel experiences. Some hotels/motels book you in a so-called "non-smoking" room when requested, but when you walk into the room and are overwhelmed with a sickening sweet smell to mask the smoke stench, you know what they've tried to pull. From the moment we walked into the lobby, our first impression of truly fresh and clean remained with us throughout our stay. The desk staff was polite, professional, and welcoming. Our room was a non-smoking king and it met our satisfaction. Linen and sheets were clean. Carpet was fresh, no odors. The mattress allowed us a relaxing night sleep and our room was refreshed when we returned later in the day. We don't require a lot, but clean, fresh, and comfortable is necessary. We participated in the Conserving for Tomorrow Program so did not need fresh towels daily, but our housekeeper neatly hung the towels and cleaned the bathroom and freshened up our room. We will definitely stay here again and DO recommend this to others.

Great location, easy access to Charleston. The staff made us feel welcomed and we received a small bag with some goodies and water. It was a really pleasant experience. We liked being just outside of Charleston, only minutes away.

The girl at the desk that check us in was wonderful. We drove from Myrtle Beach for a swim meet. She knew exactly where the pool was located and gave perfect directions. Thanks for the nice clean rooms! Keep up the Great work!

Stayed for 2 nights. The check in lady was very helpful, took time to answer questions and give us information about what is going on. The room was cool and quiet. The water was hot for showers with great pressure. This surprised me considering lack of elevation

I have stayed here for work and this hotel is very clean and reasonable price. The beds are comfortable. When I go back there for work I will be staying there again. I have stayed here for the last 5 weeks. Recomended to everyone.
