Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Ruined a Getaway Weekend Room was not ready. Staff was unapologetic. We finally got into room and it was located directly above the pool where children were screaming and yelling. Also children running up and down the halls. Management did not tell them to stop. Because we had to wait for the room, we were late getting ready for our dinner which I had preplanned a month ago for my husbands birthday. We almost missed our dinner reservation and we spent the first part of our dinner just talking about what a horrible experience we were having. The hotel didn't care that we were upset. The manager just kept saying "there is nothing I can do". That's fine. Her lack of effort to pretend to care how upset we were is why we will never be back and why I will write negative reviews on all travel sites. The hotel incompetence ruined our getaway weekend, hands down. February 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding staff! Everyone! Our entire family was in town for the funeral of a dear family member so needless to say we were all distraught and very out of sorts. From the moment we checked into the moment that we checked out the entire staff, especially Sandy, Lisa, Jackie, Vivian, Kathy and Tim the maintenance manager, went above and beyond our expectations. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by plumber overall stay was good as usual with the Holiday Inn Express hotels.....toilet was plugged from previous occupant and desk attendant brought me up the toilet plunger and handed it to me to fix problem myself. odd, but they had no maintenance person. January 28, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by screwed up reservations booked for 2 nites get there & was put in a room that wasn't suitable. I had made sure to request a jacuzzi suite, Questioned it more then once. Was given a regular room, even tho it was a nice room it wasn't big enough for my family. Nothing was done to try to accommodate us, so we left & went to a diff place. Called later that eve we call & sure enough there was availability. Was highly upset. The cost has increased & service has decreased. Management very unwilling to work w/ us, & we have been staying at this location for the last 3 yrs when ever in area. Many times special trips to just use this hotel. January 28, 2015
