Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Aftermath of an ice storm We arrived at the Holiday Inn Express just two hours after the electrical power was restored due to an ice storm. The power had been out about three days. The staff was working feverishly to prepare the rooms to accept customers. People were performing jobs that were not in there job class. Receptionists were dusting and vacumming etc. Rooms were in great demand because many homes and businesses in the area had been out of power and were still out of power. The staff did all that was humanly possible to make the accomidations ready and to make the customers feel at home. You should be proud of these employees and please know that your reputation took a great leap up in our minds. December 30, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Non-heated Swimming Pool I've stayed here a couple of times with my boys during deer hunting season. Really nice clean facility with friendly staff. However the swimming pool is not heated, I lost feeling in my legs just dangling them in the pool. The hot tub on the other hand is awesome and brought feeling back to my legs. The pool has been like this both times we've come (a year apart). The first time we were told that the pool heater was broken, this year we were told that it was working. If it really does work it is set way too low. Did enjoy our stay overall and love that they served breakfast early for those of us leaving before daylight to go hunting! November 25, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by How about a hanger? Fair would about characterize the experience. Room was clean and bed comfortable. The hot tub in the room didn't work. The staff was friendly. However I left a shirt hung up in the room, when I when I checked out. I called and was able to pick it up on the return trip. It would have been nice if the left the shirt hung up instead of wadding it up in a plastic bag. I did leave a tip for the maids before checking out. November 20, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excessive noise one floor above my room Even after two calls concerning EXCESSIVE noise one floor above mine, a third call had to be placed---front desk said we were not the only call. First call was at 11:30 PM, second at midnight, and third at 12:30 in the morning. Front desk personnel no help on checkout, but did suggest we call manager. Repeated calls to the hotel manager over the last month were fruitless!!!UNACCEPTABLE. Poorly handled. November 16, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by seeing some changes since management changed This hotel has slowly gone down. It used to be my favorite hotel and the people treated me like family. The last time we stayed the beds were old so we quit coming for a while then kept hearing they are remodeling so decided to try again. We got there we saw no remodels even though the internet said it would be done in November. We always loved the pool and hot tub here upon entering the area this time it stunk. There was dirt in the bottom of the hot tub and a insane bright light pointing right on the hot tub to blind you I was disappointed this used to be my favorite hotel. Management needs to get it together and actually remodel new beds clean the pool and hot tub. November 11, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by hot tub broke, pool over 100 hot tub did not work and that was the reason for our early arrival. Pool was over 100 degrees. I know that they were trying to correct it but it still was a damper not being able to use the hot and the pool so warm. We paid extra to stay at this hotel instead of getting a cheaper one. Because we wanted a hot tub and pool. Disappointed October 27, 2013
