Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Island Tour Staff was very accommodating during their peak season. We booked several months in advance using our IHR points, exchanging a premium number of points for a standard room, using upto twice the points per night then other IHR destinations during this holiday. The comfort was considered fair and therefore value considered below average. Charlotteown needs another IHR hotel. The room was cramped with little storage for two adults with luggage. The closet area was small, about a quarter the size of the standard. Hotels with small rooms should not have a double bed and sofa bed with large coffee table but instead a minimum Queen sized bed if a hotelier wants their guests to get a good rest; furnished with comfy chairs if space is limited. This hotel has a pool and a fitness room which was clean and had a suitable variety of machines and free weights . The depth of the pool seemed shallow; in general hotels that spend money on pools should make them deep enough so that an adult can swim the front crawl without without slapping the bottom of the pool (and be made longer to swim lenghts) August 29, 2014

I wrote a review last year and mentioned this at that time also. This must be challenging for anyone with a physical disability. August 29, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Service - comfy beds. Only issue is that breakfast starts too late if you have an early morning flight to catch. Would be nice to get fruit and muffins to go. Also, would be really nice to have airport shuttle service. August 28, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Charlottetown stay In Charlottetown for a couple of days of sightseeing, chose HIE from past experience and breakfast included and wasn't disappointed. Hotel was well located just outside downtown area but was good access to downtown and near highways connecting all areas of the Island. Well received on sign-in and pleasantly surprised with room size and amenities. Stay went without a hitch and very satisfied and highly recommend this hotel as being good value for your travelling dollar. August 28, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by The rate and value didn't match I travel a lot for business and the cost of the room and the experience didn't match. I expected more for the price. The beds were great. The rooms were just average. Maybe you should do an exceptionally great job at a cold breakfast rather than just an okay job with a hot breakfast. There were 8 of us in total with three rooms booked between us each night. We all were unimpressed by the variety, the taste, and the temperature of the food. Guests complained about the lineups. Staff were always great. Very friendly and helpful. August 24, 2014
