Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing - better options are available Unreliable internet, breakfast room lineups too long, awkward entrance doors need updating. Called front desk about loss of wireless and had to call tech support myself, which (at checkout) front desk agreed should not have been the case. Nothing was done to make up for the loss of internet, which meant my wife could not do any work from her laptop. It is not acceptable to advertise wireless then, when it stops working, just pass-off the problem to the Guest, and provide the excuse of "too many people were using it" when the shortsightedness of that blunder was brought to their attention. Stayed one night here - the next night was at a different local hotel, with wireless that worked and front desk staff who were responsive and seemed to care. We will return to that other hotel rather than to this substandard HI Express. July 24, 2014

The only problem I encountered was that nobody on the desk knew about the safe deposit boxes when I arrived. However next morning the person on the desk and the manager gave me a box and helped in every way. The new young staff need to be taught about this. July 17, 2014

We arrived in Charlottetown during post tropical storm Arthur so we were lucky to get a room since the Cavendish Festival was full on at the time. The storm resulted in some cancellations and we left a dodgy room at another hotel chain for the Holiday Inn. So happy! The room was large - executive king with a pullout- so the family was comfortable. The kids loved the pool and we all loved the breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.
