Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel for the Price I was pleasantly surprised with the Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable (Very fluffy pillows!). Soaps were higher quality (Bath and Body Works products) and smelled great. Breakfast had many options, I'd recommend the cinnamon buns. My only critique would be the swimming pool area seemed outdated compared to the rest of the hotel. It seemed clean enough but didn't have an inviting appearance. Overall, great hotel for the price. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet and comfortable Arrived at the hotel late. Had some issues with parking. There were several trucks, semis, and boats taking most of the limited parking. I parked in a tight space infront of a semi, then moved after an hour when another spot became available. Was able to check in very fast. The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. Room was great! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Accommodating We were in town for a funeral. We flew on the red eye flight all night from the West Coast. The staff let us check in early and out late. It was a great help because we were only in town for 1 night. With the 3 hour time change and the short turn around time the flexibility was exactly what we needed. The breakfast selection is awesome. The only negative was that the bed skirt had some food on it. But since I do not really come in contact with the bed skirt it really did not bother me. Staff was friendly and helpful in our time of need. Thank you! June 10, 2014

We travel a lot and must do our work in hotel rooms, eventually I was able to connect be walking down to the lobby, connecting and walking back to my room, but until this gets fixed I cannot afford to stay at this hotel again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Concierge-level support from staff To offset geographical challenges on my daughter’s Prom Night, we moved the Family and all Prom-prep Activities (including Prom Queen and entourage) to this facility. It was an afternoon/evening fraught with challenges – missed hair appointments, manicure and pedicure delays, misplaced credit card AND misplaced car keys. Thanks to the staff at The Holiday Inn Express and Suites order was restored to the evening. The young man on the desk (Walter) expedited our check-in (lost credit card notwithstanding), provided curbside service (I am a disabled veteran), created a well-lit area for Pre-Prom photographs and continually checked in with us to insure our stay was satisfactory. This young man not only provided top-notch service to us but to every guest he touched. This was a Friday night. We were in –and-out so often I had a chance to observe him throughout his shift. It was busy and he was working alone. He managed the administrative flow- and –exchange very well and at the same time gave each guest individualized attention. Children, seniors, business people. All were treated to prompt, courteous attention. The next day after checking out (Prom went off without a hitch) we found that my son had left his backpack with laptop in the room. We drove back to the hotel to retrieve it. The staff stopped everything until they were certain that we had found it (we did). Staff service rates an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Very clean rooms. The building and grounds were immaculate. Parking was well-lit and very well designed; the position of every parking spot relative to the position of every entrance is important for those of us with mobility challenges. On the whole, the value-to-service ratio is VERY favorable. In closing, I will note that a recent four-day stay at the Chicago/O’Hare Holiday Inn Express did not go as well for us. I would suggest you create some cross-training opportunities between the staffs at these two facilities. “More of a concierge and less of a clerk” is a cultural investment shift that will serve the interests of your both your long-term and bottom-line. When I checked in there were several children running around, and I asked Stephanie to please not put me near them. She immediately switched my room to another floor, which I so appreciated. Of course, I know the hotel can't control the noise level from other guests, but this hotel was blissfully quiet! The room was very clean, and I love that the workout room has free weights. Seemed like everyone checking in was being moved to the 3rd floor and I had some rather loud people, a group of four, move next to my room. I knew this would be an issue, so I asked for my room to be moved. Walter put me on the 1st floor, which was quiet the entire evening. This was the 1st time I every asked for a room change. Very friendly staff that goes the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Temperature control in the room worked perfectly without a overly noisy system that runs all night. We watched what great professional care Walter gave to the boys and their families. I think he was far one of the best desk clerks we have had at a hotel. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by so so Room could have been cleaner.They told us the breakfast was would be ready at 6 30 and the cold stuff was out but non of the hot.As we were leaving for the Packer game we didnt have time to wait.There were kids running up and down the hallways till after midnite.So didnt get a goodnite sleep.I tried calling the front desk and nobody answered. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok just a bad night Windows where not sealed and the wind was howling which made a whistling noise. Then woke up to go to work and the shower would not work. Upon checkout I told the from desk that the windows howled and the shower did not work. The response I received from the desk staff, "You were able to bathe right". Needless to say that response was unexpected. I have stayed at this hotel for over 60 nights just this year, and was turned off by the response I received from the front staff. I will be staying in the area for another month and will try another hotel nearby. I am sorry that this happened because the other nights were better. November 29, 2013

I was exremely comfortable and able to rest. it was near shopping centers and restaurants so I could go out when i was feeling up. I was a little bummed the pool was down when my grandson came to visit, but he was delighted with the free cookies every evening! November 19, 2013
