I came for a friend's wedding nearby. It was a good value for the price we paid.

My room was very nice and the furniture was up to date. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I will definitely be back in the future.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AS1234 A very nice place to stay
Our couple of days' stay was very comfortable. Our only difficulty was with the air conditioning. Looks like the thermostat may be on a motion sensor. Every time we went out and came back the room would be very warm and it would take almost a half hour to come back to comfortable levels.

A tired property with maintenance issues. Needs renovation badly. Staff try to help, but don't get the support they need to get issues resolved in a timely manner.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ME200 Excellent hotel. Comfortable, spacious room/
I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Chestertown, MD. The room was very spacious (a suite because no king bed rooms were available). The breakfast was tasty, hot and plentiful. I really liked the Great Room where it was served. It's a beautiful and comfortable hotel. If I had to give any criticism, it would be that I could sometimes hear the next door guest when in the bathroom and they did not have TV One. But overall, I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again if in the area.

I found that the shower curtain was too short. On first use of the shower, the floor got wet. Adjusting the shower head did help keeping the water in the tub/shower.
On our 2nd day, the bathroom had a sour smell. We had clean towels but, I traced it to the shower curtain. It did look a little dingy as well.
When I go away for a few weeks to a rental property, I usually bring a cheap plastic shower liner. I have a distinct aversion of my body touching a strange and/or dirty shower curtain.
I know I'm a bit of a clean-freak; but I bet lots of your guests feel the same way.
As a matter of course, you should put a freshly laundered shower curtain for each new guest at the beginning of their stay.
