Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Accommodating staff and comfortable bed. My husband and I were very pleased with our two night stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The room was as nice as some very high end and expensive hotels we have visited in the past. The front desk staff were pleasant and met all of our needs including a late check out as Priority Club members. We were very satisfied with the breakfast choices and the cleanliness of the dining area. June 7, 2013

Although the price was higher than expected, the conditions of the room, the hallways, the breakfast area and the entire hotel were very nice. Coffee was on very early. :) Room thermostat was easy to adjust. I would stay there again without hesitation. June 6, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Was Extremely disappointed We are always staying at the Holiday Express and this was not the first time in Chestertown. We actually detoured our vacation itinerary to stay at this hotel because we had loved it so much in 2012. 1) The clerk at the desk was tired and her phone would not stop ringing (and in hindsight) I understand I was not greeted in the manner I am usually accustomed to. 2) I was not given (priority member) gift - I had to ask for it after I got into our room. 3) No internet access - we did not have WI-FI which is offered but the worse part is...when asking the front desk if they have someone on the is what they answered. a) The general manager is not here, it's his son's birthday and he took the day off b) can't find the tech guy 4) The INDOOR POOL - WAS FREEZING COLD AND IT WAS FULL OF DEAD BUGS- HOW CAN AN INDOOR POOL BE FULL OF DEAD BUGS???? we were disgusted with the state of how this hotel has gone down in (1) customer service (2) quality of services. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel of Choice when staying in Chestertown, MD We frequently stay at the Chestertown, MD Holiday Inn Express as our son goes to Washington College. We stay at this particular hotel at least eight times a year. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The hotel is quite and relaxing and the complimentary breakfast has a wide variety of choices and is always fresh. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. April 18, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great service Staff was very helpful. I forgot my ipad charger in the room and staff was prompt to accomodate shipping arrangements. I called back an hour later to let them know I had found my charger after all. Staff called UPS back to cancel shipment and ensured that my credit card would not be charged. January 30, 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable but not always cleanest I've stayed here multiple times for business, and the rooms aren't always cleaned to the proper specifications one would hope for. The carpet isn't always vaccuumed great, the remote control and light switches could be wiped down more regularly, the bathroom isn't always cleaned (mirror splashes, tub wiped down better). Could be improved. However front desk staff is always pleasant to deal with. January 7, 2013

Staff at front desk gives you a warm welcome and being a member they present you with delicious chocolate chip cookies! Room has a nice TV with a comfortable bed. Overall it was a very relaxing stay!
