We travel extensively with our two dogs and chose the Chestertown, MD, Holiday Inn Express because it accepts pets. We were very impressed with this property.
Our room was as lovely as the four star inns we'd stayed on earlier on the trip. We were stunned at how nice it was.
The checkin staff put us in a rear corner room with easy access for walking the dogs.
As a small side note, I take baths and was pleased to see good lighting in the bathroom that enabled me to read in the tub. This is rare.
This is an extremely nice property. We recommend it highly.

Due to family circumstances I had to change my plans several times. The staff were very considerate, patient, and helpful. This made a difficult time easier.
I enjoyed the breakfast room - the comfortable seating area - and the breakfast choices.
I appreciate the availability of fitness equipment as well.

Overall, my stay here was very good except for the unruly kids that were staying in the floor above me that were there for a Lacrosse tournament, they were slamming doors and running through the hallways and making it hard for me to relax. The breakfast wasn't what I though it would be, to small of a buffet for the amount of guests that were staying at the hotel and the lounge is too small for everyone to sit at tables, had to eat my breakfast on one of the couches.

The Front Desk customer service was great! I was able to bring my 97 year old Grandmother here with comfort and she was able to move around with no problems.
