Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Quality of Service Needs Improvement The accommodations were clean and appeared new. Quality of staff customer service needs much improvement. This customer service can make the difference of a very bad hotel stay or a wonderful one. I have been home for a few days and I am still very unhappy about the customer service at this hotel. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice rooms and breakfast We really enjoyed or stay at Holiday Inn Express. The rooms were very nice with plenty of outlets to charge up all of our electronics. The breakfast had a very good variety of items. We really appreciated that the pool opened early enough to allow the runners in our group to use the pool and hot tub after their run. August 14, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel Great hotel for the price, clean, new, everything was on the upper scale of very nice. I suggest staying here in the future, I know I will. I have stay at the competitors just a block away for several business trips to Cheyenne, and should have stayed here instead. Only when they were fully booked did I come to this hotel. I wish I could have stayed here on business for the past few months, much better than the competitons place. August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Not your typical Holiday Inn Express I am not sure if this place is newly remodeled or refurbished or what, but if you walked in and didn't look at the sign, you would think you were at the Marriott. It is clean, modernly decorated, tasteful, quiet, and truly carries the vibe of a higher end hotel. The price was a little high, but I recognize it was Cheyenne Frontier Days, so it didn't matter to us. You can hear the train, which would have been distracting except we were so tired, it didn't make a difference. The breakfast selection was good - I always like the waffles though, so was a little disappointed in the confusing pancake warmer (and I like really green bananas and all of them were ripe). The set up is great though, parking is ample, it is easy to go and the staff were outstanding. July 30, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Beware! We have stayed at Holiday Inns for years, and this was by far the worst experience we've ever had. The hotel is located close to a very busy rail system, and we were kept awake for three nights by the frequent train whistles. Housekeeping didn't make the bed two days in a row, towels were just plopped on the bathroom counter, and there was no replenishment of soap. The excuse from the front desk was that housekeepers are forbidden to enter a room if they determine there are valuables there. Nonsense! For the expensive price we paid during Frontier Days, we expect much better! July 28, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Service Poor During Cheyenne Frontier Days, I chose this based on previous reviews. However, the cost was more than I would have expected but over inflated prices can't be helped during this time. The poor service made the cost of the room even more painful. We arrived after traveling for 6 hours approximately 30 minutes before check-in time was scheduled. Sadly, they wouldn't allow us to check in early. Once 3 pm arrived, it took 20+ minutes to check-in despite the 4 employees behind the desk trying to run 2 check-in lines. The lobby showed a shuttle scheduled to leave at 3:30 and at 4 pm to Frontier Park for $5 per person each way. Since we would miss the 3:30 time due to slow/poor service, we opted for the 4 pm shuttle and arrived in the parking lot to find the van sitting there w/o a driver. As we waited for the driver, the minutes ticked by until it was 4:05 and still no driver. I went in to inquire of the driver only to be told he hadn't shown today. When asked about the advertisement in the lobby, I was told these would be removed if he didn't show the following day --- this I pointed out would do no good for the half-dozen of us waiting today for a driver who would never show. Next year for CFD, I will be choosing a different hotel -- hopefully, one that at least provides good customer service for the over-priced room. July 22, 2014
