There was a problem with the online reservation, and the attendant took care of the issue within a few minutes. The room was lovely and comfortable. The hotel was clean, modern, and well cared for. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Usually excellent customer service...but this time, not so much. Staff shouldn't argue with the customer or blame other staff for their mistake... My husband and I have stayed at this hotel about one weekend a month for almost 2 years and it's always been a good experience. Even through the extensive remodel, we were always treated well, and the front desk staff was always friendly and all about taking care of the customer. Our recent trip at the end of June was different. When checking in we were told we were upgraded to a King room from a double...the problem was that I had not booked a double, but through my Gold Elite membership on ihg.com, had a confirmed reservation for a King room. We then go to our room and find it's a King room that's handicapped accessible...which we do not need. I call down to the desk to request a room change, and the lady ARGUED with me that their computer info said I made the reservation on Google, and they already upgraded us & nothing else was available. She continued to insist that I was wrong...until I went downstairs and showed her MY confirmation from their own ihg.com website. "All of a sudden" a King room was available for us. She then continued to blame another employee saying that she should have caught the mistake. While our room was switched, there was no need for her to continue to blame other employees and tell me (incorrectly) where I made my reservation. We will be returning to this hotel, but I will be letting the manager know that this employee was not providing the customer service that we've come to expect at this Holiday Inn Express. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by nice decoration nasty room The hotel was beautiful! Our room was not clean. The toilet had urine around the rim, Dust on the furniture, Hair in the shower. We have been traveling all week and it was our stopping point before heading to Denver Airport. May main goal was a comfy bed to sleep in- that was great!. We went swimming in the evening. The pool area was out of towels and was very cold. I had to go to the desk to ask for them. The receptionist rolled her eyes at me and sighed and reluctantly handed me towels. A family went to ask for towels after me and she told them they did not have anymore. July 2, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A pleasant place to stay I found this HIE to be everything I look for in a business hotel. I was pleased to find the sparkling new appearance of the lobby. The staff was helpful and attentive, and best of all my king bed was comfy and the room dark. I always appreciate the heavy drapes and variety of pillows. I'll be back next year! June 30, 2014
