During our travels from Northern MI to the Panhandle of Florida, we always stop in Chicago to see our daughter and her family, Although they live in the North River area of the Loop, we decided to give this location a try, To avoid the busy interstate we traveled Cicero Ave North to Ogden and went into the city. The location of the Holiday Inn Express is great, the staff was great... We enjoyed our stay there and will be returning again. Holiday Inn family hotels are reliable and secure.

When ever I fly into Chicago to visit family in the suburbs, I always reward myself with an overnight stay at airport Holiday Inn on my way home. I have good nights sleep, good breakfast and take free shuttle to arrive nice and early for my return flights.

While traveling to Florida, we always go through Chicago to see our daughter and family. Normally we would stay at the Holiday Inn-Riverview, but with the points promotion we thought we would try this location. WE found the hotel to be easy to access the city. Actually with parking being a premium in the city, I think were going to return to this Holiday Express. The desk staff were helpful! We were not disappoint with this Holiday family location...

I stayed in this property for one night due to my early departure flight the following morning. The room I stayed was not sound proof and I can hear other guest in and out from their room during the evening. The receptionist John was friendly and helpful. The price is a bit higher compare to other HI express I stayed at, and beware that there is a village tax added to the bill.
Across the street there is a Mexican/Asian restaurant with a very reasonable price menu, if anyone are staying in the area, I recommend you to check it out.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice room, great breakfast, nice exersize room. Very convenient for midway airport -- complimentary shuttle runs every 20 minutes -- very convenient.
They do charge for parking.

Our stay was overall an excellent experience. We used our priority club rewards night and they were able to upgrade us to a jacuzzi room - very big and nice! Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms, shuttle to the airport, breakfast included. Mattresses left a little to be desired, but the sheets and all other furniture was nice.

I arrived late at night, was flying out of Midway on a 6 am flight, and this hotel was convenient. That and appeared clean.....
Other than that, I don't have much to add that is positive. $$ to park a car in the lot. It was cold, snowing hard, with a strong wind. After getting my bag inside and checking in, I had to go BACK out to the car just to put a "parking permit" in the window.
Uncaring staff, expensive room rate - just not a good experience.

The staff at this property makes it POP!! Always friendly and courteous.
