I had business in the South Chicago area (Univ Chicago) and stayed close to the airport that I flew into. The rooms were obviously sound proofed. I have 2 really good nights of sleep and the staff was outstanding. I highly recommend this property.

A long day of "travel, work then travel" always leads me to Holiday Inn Express. Upon checking inn, I notice the price is TWICE what I am used to seeing, especially for this property. I informed the manager, we debated the price, agreed on an amount that was still above what I am used to.
I went to bed unsatisfied.
However, Leaving in the morning, I grabbed my reciept from under the door, and find that, Mark, the manager had given me the original price I wanted on the final bill. EXCELLENT customer service!!!

Staff was very nice and I enjoyed it. Was put on the 4th floor so I could see all the high rises downtown from the window.

I have stayed here several times and have been VERY pleased with the service. The recognize 'Priority Club' members and the rates are not to bad (considering to be down the street from the airport).

The room was what you would expect at an HI Express and it is conveniently located near Midway.
I went to breakfast at 6:30, but nothing was ready. i waited until 7 AM, and still nothing was out. Finally, after waiting nearly 45 minutes, someone showed up and said that the food would be out in a few minutes. After 5 minutes, I gave up and went elsewhere.

I travel a lot for business and this was the most uncomfortable one.

I stayed at your hotel because I like the Holiday Inn brand. I was very disappointed. I am a Gold member and was not recognized as such and the room was not worth the cost per night. When I booked it I was supposed to receive an extra 1000 points per night but that is not indicated on my account. I will have to rethink my decision to stay with Holday Inn.

Tired facility. Yes, convenient to the airport and that would be the only reason to consider but it is on a complex with many other hotels that I would try first.
