Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Greay ;pcation and services WE arrived late, our room was available. the next Am our car needed servicing and they were able to tell us where to go for the needed service. Gave us later check-out if car was not to be ready on time. Really appreciated that offer. Breakfast was good. The room clean but mattress for a handicapped person was not quite firm enough. Rooms are comfortable, and the choice of soft or firm pillows a nice touch. Only issue was rooms were not ready when we checked in at 5pm. August 14, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Room and Breakfast very good I have stayed in this hotel twice now both for Business. The first time I stayed only a couple days the second time for an entire week. I plan on staying again next year. The only issues I had during this stay is when checking in, there was no one to greet me and I ended up waiting for a little over 15 minutes trying to find someone. Secondly, on two nights, there were no parking spaces due to several semi-trucks parking in the main parking taking up all the spaces. The first night I had to park in a handicap spot and the second night I drove around the building numerous times before luckily someone was leaving. That night there were no handicap spots available either. This has been a great hotel. I just pray they will fine tune and correct these small problems. August 13, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No parking. I arrived at 10:30 PM on a Tuesday night to check in. As a single, female business traveler I try to be as safe as possible. There were no parking spaces when I arrived. I was asked to park at a business across the highway or in a dark, vacant lot nearby. I feel this is unreasonable and unacceptable. There were no parking spaces because utility and work trucks were taking up 27 spaces (I counted). Some of them taking up as many as 4 or 5 spaces. Maybe other parking arrangements should be made for them. After protesting, the gentleman who checked me in did allow me to park on the curb near the entrance upon my request. August 11, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Stay at the HIE Christiansburg We stayed here for a little getaway for our daughters birthdays. They were really looking forward to swimming in the pool, but it was down for maintenance. Fortunately, the staff had already set-up a way to go to a nearby hotel, not an IGH property, to use their pool. It was close enough to walk to, if not for the amount of traffic, so we drove. All in all a very nice stay. August 8, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by would not recommend This place was almost a dump. Would not go back again. Musty entrance, room. AC could not be controlled -- on to cool and off to keep from freezing. My husband has never been one for smells but he even noticed the bad smells. Upon entering and going to the elevator, there was almost a sewage smell there. There was no one at the front desk when we went to check in and he had to wait a few minutes for someone to show up. Then went he went to inquire about towels (since there were none in the room) and the mustiness of the room, he had to wait more than five minutes for someone to come to the desk. Then he was sent to housekeeping for towels. And there was no one in that area. August 6, 2014
