To be honest I like this hotel better than the Holiday Inn in the same city, the gym is better, the personal is nicer and I think the AC works better, which, in this city is a NEED!

This was the first Holiday Inn Express I have ever visited where only smokers are given preferential treatment. Want an upgrade to a suite as a Platinum, they're available but all of those rooms are smoking only. They do not have even one non-smoking suite in the entire hotel. When I inquired further they explained the hotel caters to the off shore oil industry and is predominantly occupied by their staff. That might be true, but there are many other hotels with similar guests that are non-smoking. The staff even mentioned that even if the room were non-smoking, the guests would still smoke. Easy solution - charge a high cleaning deposit like most other five star hotels.
The standard rooms are adequate and the beds are comfortable. Front desk staff were friendly enough although the manager seemed to be overworked given that she was there in the evening and the following morning as well.
It's with reluctance, I cannot recommend the hotel but until the smoking policy changes, I would not stay again.

Internet is quite bad. I had to go to the bar in front to get a normal service.
They keep making the same mistake in the reservation. This is the second time we ask for NON SMOKERS ROOMS, and we get only SMOKERS ROOMS.
We had to leave the hotel and get 2 nights in another place because of this.
Even when we called a day before, and even when leaving the hotel 2 days before, (since we are regulars of the hotel) we strictly said ...PLEASE NON SMOKERS ROOM FOR THE NEXT MONDAY.... I guess they didn't pray quite attention.

The Hotel needs more attention at áreas such as External Iluminations, and the blue lights the Hotel has on top and at the first floor at the main entrance.
The Hotel allways offers the same Breakfast. Maybe because this kind of hotel (Business) doesn´t need a restaurant.

The attention at the front desk wasn't good,I felt no difference between the supermarket gay and the front desk gay.
The room is too noisy, I couldn't rest as in others holiday inn.
I used the iron, it was dirty because the salinity of the water, my clothes got dirty.
A bad experience.

This should not be a Holiday Inn Hotel, I´m used to certain kind of experience in Holiday Inn, room smell horrible, I asked for a change and they denied it.

The internet speed was improved. They added a clear signal in the elevators indicating that the shuttle goes to the airport only at certain hours, which is a progress considering that the signal was not there before.
There is no restaurante at the hotel, This is a big minus. When they bring the food from the nearby Holiday Inn, forks/knives/spoons are plastic, french fries are wrapped in paper, and so for and so on. Need to install a restaurante at the hotel
