Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great hospitality experience Staying in a hotel far from home during a loved one's hospitalization could have been a depressing experience. Fortunately, the attentive staff, comfortable room, proximity to fine restaurants, and secure parking in a historic setting made this a memorable experience under the circumstances. Add the well stocked free breakfast with hot and cold selections, and I will always choose Holiday Inn Express if available. November 18, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great price, great location We stayed here because we were in town for a show at Playhouse Square. It was a perfect location. We walked to Terminal Tower, the casino, the Arcade, Playhouse Square and East Fourth Street Restaurants. We even walked to Guy's Pizza for a late night pie after the show. Staff at the desk helped me book a reservation for a future visit and helped me maneuver the IHG points. Staff at Manager's reception the first night as well as breakfast both mornings were friendly as well as doing a great job keeping food hot and ready. November 17, 2014

The hotel is located in an old building with beautiful architecture; however, nostalgia is no excuse for over pricing rooms that look like they have been renovated by a 3 year old. With an event at the IX center, a Caves game and brown game all on the same weekend the staff including the valet parking were very over worked. The room was comfortable when we arrived and we experienced the temperature start to drop while the thermostat will allow you to set the “desired temperature” but that is all you get is a desire unfulfilled. Is there a possible draft from the hall? Or is it from the windows? All I can tell you is that I have been bore comfortable in rooms for a quarter of the price. November 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very responsive staff I stayed here with my elderly mother who was a patient at Cleveland Clinic. Everything was top notch. Loved the hardwood, view, high celings, shower. Our only issue was the furnace for the room. With 4 visits from maintenance and staff we we finally got the room temoperature to 70 by morning. We were constantly fiddling with the thermostat. They offered to move us as well but we were settled already. I commend them for their diligence in trying to help us. November 17, 2014
