Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Hotel This hotel is in a great location in downtown Cleveland. It has the largest rooms of any HIX we have ever stayed in, and overall very clean and up-to-date. The staff is friendly and very efficient. Special thanks go out to Tiffany at the front desk, who went above and beyond to help us out with a problem (NOT hotel-related). We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Cleveland! April 25, 2015

The room was very clean and with the hardwood floors we felt safer because you never know what is hiding in motel carpeting.It just seems that they go out of their way to keep everything clean. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hall of Fame Induction Once in a lifetime and your hotel added to the whole experience in a positive way. The only issues we had were that the individual room comfort controls resulted in a lot of air moving, and not knowing how much air would move, we also didn't realize how cool it would stay. It happens in all hotels, so we have no issue with it, and would certainly stay there again and again. We love the location, Cleveland is awesome, and the only other issue we had was that the yogurt in the fridge for breakfast was not edible (not expired, but separated and terribly sour). Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Experience with Security Guard Security guard knocks on our door 11:30-11:45pm and demands we open up. We ask what he wants. He demands we open the door because he wants us to see him We reply we could see him just fine through the peep hole and ask again what he wants. (He is a large man) He then calls a policeman up. When policeman gets there we open the door and then are told there was a noise complaint about the music coming from a cell phone laying on the bed. We are 4 middle aged women and had NO intentions of opening the door to a large man just because he said we needed to. All he had to say was there was a noise complaint and ask for us to turn down or off our music. Made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. To top it off there were a group of young people carrying on in the halls, riding the luggage carts, knocking on doors yelling "Room service!" until 4:30am. Where was security then? April 22, 2015
