Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Customer Service / Trust issues Not only did the hotel run out of hot water, not the first time, but the house cleaning staff is very dishonest, at least the one that cleaned mine. I stay in Holiday Inns, Express almost every night of the week and can say that this hotel has been my worst experience. I was not happy that their staff did not return my call after I explained my situation. Cost me $50.00 to replace my item and I paid a very high rate for my stay, Highest in Mississippi. May 5, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by No Hot Water two mornings!! First morning we took cold showers, the staff was friendly and stated they would discount the room $30. I thought that was fair. Next morning, same thing!! Again, desk clerk was very friendly and discounted the second night $30. I appreciate they compensated us, however, we would not stay at this hotel again. The desk clerk commented that so many people had been furious about the lack of hot water and she appreciated us not being ugly to her. It seems this hotel manager needs to realize the hotel hot water heater needs major repair or to be replaced. By the time he discounts all these rooms due to this issue, he has lost alot of money and most people are like us and will not return due to this prob. The staff in the morning was friendly. At night, I had called the desk and no one would answer. I finally walked downstairs, to find the desk clerk watching tv, while the phone was ringing off the hook. April 26, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice little place Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The staff knew the closest places to eat and even offered some discounts. I would leave for my job very early in the morning and the night clerk would make sure that fresh coffee was available. January 22, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Place to stay on Business or Pleasure I have stayed at this property for over 130 days during 2012. Kelly was the manager most of the year and started an evening manager reception that included beverages, vegetables and an entree. After a long day at work that was a welcomed surprise. Chris behind the desk along with Bruce and all the other team members always welcomed the guests with a smile. At breakfast Sakira always greeted you with a smile and some great conversation. David in maintenace always asked if the " Room was OK" and if there was an issue by the time I got back at night he had fixed it. Housekeeping kept the rooms perfect. The comfort of the beds was fabulous. Mikle is the new manager and he is stepping in right where Kelly left off. Great Team Work at the Holiday Inn Express in Cleveland, Mississippi January 20, 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Room was dirty but Staff was great I stayed at this location on a business trip for 4 nights. My room was dirty, I even found a dirty tissue in the room and there were many stains in the room. I spoke to the front desk and they had room service disinfect and sanitize the room, which made a huge difference. They acted quickly and were genuinely concerned. I would stay here again because really there aren't many choices in Cleveland, MS and the staff was caring. December 11, 2012
