Nice new comfortable hotel.
When Houston is booked (like it was for me) don't hesitate to stay in Cleveland. A short drive to north Houston and worth the travel time.

Great property, with an excellent staff. Great value, as someone who travels for a living I think I qualify to rate this an A1 experience.

The room was clean and well supplied. The only thing I found lacking was the cleanliness of the dining room. I had to ask the front desk clerk to get some assistance. Every table was dirty, the trash was overflowing and the food was in very short supply. Once I went to the front desk the the young woman came out and cleaned and refilled everything.
From what I understand the regular kitchen person was off on Saturday.
Sunday was a much better experience except the trash was over flowing. The kitchen person did take care of it right away when brought to her attention.

When I mentioned to friends that we would be staying in Cleveland,Tx. the first response was,"there's nothing there". Guess they never heard about the Holiday Inn Express. We enjoyed one of the most pleasant stays of our trip. thanks to the great staff and fine facility. You have a winner!

We came in for a Hog Dog Hunting competition and needed a place to stay. We hunted all day and came in late. We had to leave bright an early before breakfast was to be available. The hospitality of the front desk was amazing. Fresh coffee and a breakfast bag was given to each of us in the wee hours of the morning before we left. GM was very helpful with the laundry service and made it possible for them to have clean dry clothes
We can go on and on about how well we were taken care of and the friendliness of the staff. We were very impressed on the comfiness of the beds and the cleaniness of the rooms. We recommend this to everyone needing a place to lay their head after a long day of hunting.

Our rooms were very clean and most of the staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly. They even put breakfast and coffee out earlier than normal for us because we were leaving early at the end of our stay. Would stay there again. Hot tub was not working but the pool area was very clean. Excellent breakfast choices.

This was my first time to stay at a Holiday Inn Express and I cant tell you it won't be my last, It was clean and very comfortable the staff were very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the cleaning staff. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay in Cleveland, Texas thats for sure. I know I will be staying here again.

During My stay at your hotel with my family and Grandkids.
one of my Grandkids became ill. And not being from the area, I was going to drive back to Houston for medical assistance. But your staff member, Ms. Julie L. on the Front desk, informed me of the medical services that were there in the Cleveland area. Not only did she inform of this service, She called and made sure there was someone avalible to assist me then i arrived. She also printed me out driving instructions to the clinic.
It's service like this, that makes traveling a pleasure. I want to express my appreciation for her taking the time out of her busy schedule to assist me in my time of need. Continue to hire staff of her caliber, and I'll continue to enjoy your facilities.
