Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great People in Clinton Iowa We were very satisfied with our 2 day stay at this hotel. The most important reason for staying at this hotel was the swimming pool. There was a problem with the swimming pool that could not be corrected during our stay. We were compensated for this problem and through this process we got to know the front desk girl better. The staff was amazing. They were so kind to my children and very pleasant to talk to. They genuinely cared about us and made sure we were comfortable. I am so glad we chose the Holiday Inn Express in Clinton, IA. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were very comfortable. Thank you Michelle. January 5, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Typical Holiday Inn -- BUT Everything about this hotel was great hence the 4 stars. BUT be prepared to sleep on a plastic mattress protector that is hot and noisy and completely annoying. Like a baby bed. Never had this before and hope note to see it again. December 28, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Front Desk Women When I checked in the front desk girl was not helpful at all she did not even point out the direction of the elevator or tell me that the hotel internet was not working, just gave me a fake faint smile and my keys and pushed me off on my way. When I checked out an older woman was working the front desk and she was too busy outside smoking a cigarette and talking with the breakfast attendant to even notice me and smelled like smoke when she finally did come back to the front desk. First off I hate smell of smoke, also she could of at least left a note that she would be back so I am not standing at the desk waiting for someone, (plus I personally don't believe smoking a cigarette is a good reason to be away from the front desk). I did not see any managers in the hotel my entire stay. December 20, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WORST FRONT DESK WOMAN EVER I walked in, to a blank stare from the front desk attendant. I greeted her, she beaked out a "Hi" mumbled the details of my stay, and explained that she "didn't even bother" to write down my Spire Elite points, just that I was a member (thank you captain obvious) although there is not too much to complain about from the physical aspects of this stay, average bed, average value and average comfort, the experience with this front desk personnel was so rude I will not be returning if I can help it. Staff was knowledgeable about restaurants in the area and friendly. Breakfast was great and included! Room was spacious and clean. Internet worked as expected. Will stay here when traveling that way again. November 25, 2015
