I was very pleased and impressed with the quality of service. The swimming pool was indoor/outdoor and very nice and clean. My family had a great time. Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Two thumbs up, way up!!

Best Holiday I've stayed in. Marriotte or Hampton inn quality. I have stayed in other H I for example in Augusta Ga which was more like ja hotel 6. This one restores my faith in good quality affordable stay

Everything was great. My only suggestion would be to change the type of mattresses. At some Holiday Inn Express stays I have had the mattresses were Tempurpedic and they were wonderfully comfortable!

I found this hotel using the IHG iPhone app. I chose it because it was the only pet friendly hotel in the area. I got a two king suite and it far exceeded my expectations. Additionally, there was plenty of sidewalk grass near the hotel where I could walk the dogs. I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling with pets.

Stayed as a stopover on our way home from Hilton Head but was amazed by this hotel. Double king beds in a beautiful large .room...friendly help and a well stocked breakfast in the morning. Great hotel!!

My wife and I stayed one night. It was very quiet, I heard very little outside noise. The room was clean and comfortable, but I did notice the drywall was peeling away from the room window, perhaps somebody left the window open and it got rained on. I was suprised to see this since the building is fairly new. The rest of the room was nice and the bed was clean and comfortable. There were no bath towels in the room, but the front desk gave us towels when we asked.
The pool area was a bit disappointing. The hot tub was too hot to sit in and the pool, and indoor/outdoor pool had a lot of leaves and debris in it, like it hadn't been vacumned for a couple of days. The plastic strips separating the inside and outside pool were in need of replacement. Also there were no towels in the pool area, however the front desk also gave us a couple of towels for pool use.

The public areas, halls, breakfast area, the room were terrific. The recommended restaurant across a not too busy street was great for dinner, except maybe the proportions were too big for people who sat in a car all day. If I had to provide a negative it would be that they had only whipped margarine, but no butter for the pancakes.

Staff at the front are exceptional. I did have an item go missing but the hotel immediately replaced it. I enjoy staying at this location, while enjoying a restful nights sleep. The pool, spa, and fitness center need some care and attention

Another great stay at this hotel. Was disapointed that there were no scrambled eggs available for breakfast but apparently there was an equipment malfunction of some type. Other than that, another great stay.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately the hot breakfast "machine" was not working so breakfast choices were limited for the entire weekend. The pools are much smaller than the pictures would lead you to believe! Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Discounted the room rate when we mentioned the problem with breakfast.

We arrived at this new and clean motel about an hour after we were rear-ended in construction traffic and were grateful for this calm and quiet oasis. We arrived in mid-afternoon when it was not yet crowded. The desk staff and even the maintenance man were cheerful and helpful. We were a little before check in time, but our room was ready, and we were allowed to go on up. After settling in, we headed to the clean (and vacant) indoor/outdoor pool. The water was warm and soothing. When we returned to the suite, we had comfortable furniture on which to relax. The bed was a little soft for my husband, but it was perfect for me. Breakfast was standard for the Holiday Inn Express, and it was kept well -stocked and the area clean. We enjoyed our last night on the road in this hotel.

We recently were involved in a major accident. This was our first road trip afterwards. My nerves were shot by the time we got to the hotel. We ended up getting to the hotel early. I called about thirty minutes before we got to Clinton Tennessee. To my surprise the front desk said come on in. We got there and the exact room we had reserved wasn't ready. It didn't matter since we were early. I must say the front desk did an amazing job contacting housekeeping to clean our type of room next. Great job Emerald. Within minutes we were ready to go to our room. The room was great, spacious and clean. We got a cart to bring our luggage up and a part of their staff was already on the elevator with a luggage cart. We thought we could both fit on the elevator but she said "no way you guys are on vacation" and stepped off to make our maneuvering easier. This is simple but a type of customer care you don't always see. Way to go Andrea. The breakfast was good always ready and fresh. We completely enjoyed the pool. The location was convenient with a resturant across the street, a walmart within walking distance for anything you forgot and easy access to the interstate.
We have also stayed at the other hotel just in front of this one. We enjoyed that stay as well but I think Holiday Inn Express one upped the other hotel this time between the price and indoor/outdoor combo pool.

After several stays here I would rate everything excellent except for the noisy air conditioners. The first time I thought a semi was parked outside my window with its engine running. I realized on subsequent stays that it wasn't a semi but the air conditioning units.
Also the little puffy pillows offer absolutely no head support.
Otherwise - great.

We have stayed at HIE almost exclusively when we travel. I made an internet reservation, and when I arrived I indicated I would prefer a room on the first floor - I had already been assigned a fourth floor room, and they would not change it. To make matters worse, the fire alarm in the whole building and in each room went off at 3 in the morning. Twenty minutes later, it went off again when the fire department tested it. Management said they had a problem with the sprinkler system leaking and the low pressure in the system triggered an alarm. HIE failed in the basic task of providing a night of good sleep. We asked for an adjustment to our bill, and were given a 10% discount, which we think is inadequate. We are re-thinking our choice of HIE as our "go-to" choice of travel accommodations.

I came into town for a 7 day stay for business. In this case the one thing that you want when you return to your hotel is a clean, serviced room, clean towels, shampoo, soap, etc... so you are able to relax and get ready for your next day. The first day I checked in my room appeared to be clean at first glance, that was until I closed the door and had an awful used Klenex attached to the back of my door. I took a picture of it, walked to the front desk and asked if they could have someone come up the room to remove it and to make sure the room was cleaned. That is how my stay started. Unfortunately, that set the tone and it did not get better! After 12 hour days; leaving the hotel at 7am & returning at after 7pm; I found my room not cleaned, no new soap, no shampoo, no clean towels, etc... Unfortunately, this particular hotel only has housekeeping during certain hours during the day and they leave prior to 6:30pm. The next day, I returned to the hotel and I had the same issue. Of the 7 nights I stayed there were only 2 days that my room was serviced without asking, 1 day I returned just prior to 3pm and it was not serviced and I asked for someone to return for at least the bathroom to be cleaned, and the other days my room was neglected. Each day I walked down to the front desk and spoke with the front desk person to ask them, 'nicely', if they could, 'please', take care of my room. The worst part was in the room they have a written policy that if any part of your stay is not satisfactory you will not have to pay for that part of your stay. I think that is a quote. The front desk staff even told me they would reduce the cost of my room due to all of the problems... Then upon check out I received my final bill and they were not courteous enough to reduce it even by a dollar. I hoped that the manager would read my note and do the right thing by reducing the room rate by a bit. No, that did not happen. When I received my credit card bill they charged me the full price of the room. This was icing on the cake, and an even bigger disappointment based upon their 'written policy' that is left in each of their rooms.
