Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Overnight stay to be close to airport. We chose this hotel because it was close to the airport for an early morning flight. The room was clean and comfortable when we arrived. There is a screen in front of the elevators where you can check flight information. Although we did not use the hotel shuttle, we noticed the driver come into the breakfast area to announce he was leaving for the airport. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and would stay again. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Lost one reservation, downgraded I made two reservations. I signed up for the rewards the day before but did not receive any of the advertised benefits. They lost one of my reservations. They did not warn me that I would be staying in a regular room and my colleague would be in an executive suite. The room I was in had a very noisy AC unit. I do not mean it was noisy when it was on. It was LOUD when it was OFF! When I brought the issues up to the lobby they seemed confused and not apologetic. I am now required to travel a lot for business and my last experience at a Holiday Inn was worse. I would rather stay at a cheaper establishment with better customer service. The breakfast and internet here are very nice. That's about it. August 10, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for rest and go I stayed for the night awaiting connecting flight. As soon as I got there on a free 24 hour courtsey shuttle. I had time to shop some at the mall, get my baggage ready and have a good sleep. Automated wake up call got me ready, breakfast was ready and tables were available. Check out was a breeze and shuttle got me on time to terminal. Michael, the shuttle driver was extremely helpful into using the MARTA and getting to the mall I wanted. Really apreciate it. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't expect what you reserve. I reserved a room with a king size bed and a work area. I received two double beds and a table. The hotel said they overbooked my room. Since my 2 day conference was in the hotel and it was too late to find another hotel with a room, I accepted what I could get. The breakfast was very good and the staff were professional. My stay would have been more enjoyable and comfortable if my room had been what I reserved. August 5, 2014

I asked about the accommodations over the phone and was assure that I would be pleased with the facility totally. I was not disappointed. Our time was really specially due to not having any worries about the accommodations. Everything was clean and pleasant, staff was polite and professional, the food was good, the bed was big fluffy and comfortable. We could not have asked for more. I hope all of the Holiday Inn Express locations live up to the standards of this one. I would rebook in a heartbeat. Thank you for a great weekend!!! August 4, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needing attention After a long flight from London this was somewhere convenient to stay overnight but the room décor looked tired. The bathroom door locked externally meaning the night porter/maintenance man had to be called to open it so we could use the facilities. The AC unit was also very noisy. Breakfast was very plain served on plastic plates and cutlery - not what we were expecting . We stopped at a Holiday Inn in Charleston the following night and had a very pleasant alternative experience. August 4, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good For One Night...That's It If you're traveling out of ATL the next morning, this is a good place to stop. But it's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so if you don't have a car, don't expect to find a place to eat. Staff was OK. Fitness center was the size of a large closet with minimal equipment. Breakfast selection was nice, but hot food was still cold. Free internet is always good. $12/day parking fee here -- or just sneak out behind someone else that's leaving. That seemed to work for people tailgating me that didn't want to pay. But paying to park at ATL airport hotels sadly seems to be the norm. August 4, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rock hard bed and bad attitude There is no place to eat at the hotel, the bed was rock hard, and the shuttle serivce to the airport only ran on the half hour. The keys to the doors did not work either. I had to try at least 10-15 times to get into my room. July 31, 2014

However, since the hotel didn't have a restaurant and there were no restaurants within walking distance, I found it inconvenient. We get a clean comfortable room and a great breakfast, then we are shuttled to the airport to be dropped off at curbside service for the airline of our choosing. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A mixed bag This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag for me. The counter service wasn't great. When I stopped down around 10 PM to grab some snacks, I didn't want to build into my room because my employer would not pay for that. I asked if I could just use a credit card to pay for the snacks. He got this annoyed look on his face and huffed. Then took my credit card info and I paid. I said thank you and he just gave an mmhmm. Then, in the morning I had lost the wireless access code and called down to get it. Her response was a very dry "you should already have it with the key from check in". I responded that I did get it but that I lost it. Just done with a poor attitude. All she really needed to say was the wireless code and the phone call would've been over painlessly. Now the staff walking around the hotel was great. They were all very friendly and personal. The room was clean and breakfast was good. With some attitude adjustments at the counter, I'd probably stay here again. I'll give it another try and see how it goes. July 18, 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by great location. nice decorated lobby This hotel is nice in appearance except it has been not maintained properly. Staff is bit lazy in servicing guests. Rooms are very comfortable and up to fresh appearance. Breakfast should be well stocked during breakfast hours. They were out of some of the items required as far as IHG advertise. Over all I would stay here again and I would hope service by staff is bumped up. July 14, 2014

I will recommend Holiday Inn to anyone. The only opportunity I had at this property was; I turned on the shower and tub filled with water in seconds which was due to the tub being clogged. My only regret is having a flight that required me to be at the airport before breakfast was served. Also the Air Conditioner in my room worked, however it left the room quite humid. I set the temperature to 66 and it still felt like it was in the mid 70's in the room. Apart from that I had an enjoyable experience and it met my needs accordingly. July 13, 2014

I didn't need to rent a car because the shuttle takes you to and from the airport and since they have a full service restaurant menu for in room delivery for most of the day I didn't have to go anywhere once I got to my room. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Wow. Great staff, awful renovation, "issues" with shuttle This reviewer and his family stayed here on a layover. We did use our points. BUT- this property is undergoing significant renovation. It was, well, a mess. The shuttle driver was professional and helpful. The shuttle needed to be retired a few years ago. Ripped seats, windows/interior/exterior were awful. We had asked for the shuttle service take us back to the hotel the next morning, and there were, oh, maybe 20 travelers waiting. We asked the front desk agent to hail a cab for us- and to tell the cabbie that there were 6 adults and luggage from a 2-week cruise. One cab showed up, but could not accommodate the fare, so a second was called. This was an expense that did not need to have occurred. If we come back to this property, we will call to ask the status of the renovation AND shuttle first. Fellow travelers- note the ongoing reports from others that state pretty much the same thing. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Relaxing environment during stressful times. I had a very relaxing stay at the Holiday Inn Express Atlanta Airport-College Park. I had just arrived after a 6 hour drive and was greeted by the very friendly desk clerk. She and the other staff members made me feel very welcomed as she recognized me as an Gold Card member. She handed me my gift bag and made sure I was well taken care of by offering me the chance to participate in the Managers dinner/buffet. I greatly appreciated the gesture and enjoyed the 7 layer dip and meatballs. As the days went by I was greeted daily with a smile from the staff and it made my week great. I look forward to staying at the hotel again in the near future. Thanks again for the OUTSTANDING services provided! July 10, 2014

Hotel appearance comprimised by portable cooling unit in parking area (indication of central A/C problems or failure 3. For this frequent traveller, a good shower (water pressure, ease of shower accesss/egress) is very desirable. The room lacked a quality shower 4, After long day of driving, not good to encounter hotel staff personnel that seemed not pleased to welcome. 5. Ask for directions to shopping areas; response was weak attempt to verbalize...using maps as reference was not used. This is poor service 6. In today's world, staying in hotel not only includes rest and wash-up, but also charging computers, cell fones, and tablets. Power outlets not convientely located for this mandatory daily requirement July 9, 2014
