Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly Front Desk The ladies at the front desk were all friendly and smiling. After an 8.5 hour drive it was nice to see that. The hotel had a good overall appearance. The bed was not so friendly, very hard. The room was like its' occupant, a little tired. The noise level from the adjoining room and the hall made sleep a challenge. Breakfast was fair, as many items were running out and the staff was not as friendly as the desk and not worried about keeping things stocked. They ran out of coffee and did not even make an attempt to let me know more was brewing or would get right on it, just turned away. March 17, 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of Favorites This is where we always stay when flying out of ATL. Have also used it when coming into Atlanta for football games and concerts. We use the hotel shuttle to airport to get on Marta. Highly recommend. Very friendly and helpful staff. Have never been disappointed. Clean rooms and very comfortable beds. Keep up the good work. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good overall but not enough staff (as usual) As all the time I am going to this hotel, when the airport shuttle arrive at the hotel, you have always only one person available for checking in all the guests. This is difinitely not enough and it is now a joke on how much time it will take to get the key... March 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by It was an okay stay Initially, I was upset when I arrived because prior to my check-in date, I called to request that I have a microwave in my room. I was told that it would be added to my reservation. When I arrived and inquired as to whether or not I had a microwave, I was told that I did not, and they would not be able to give me a room with one. I was told to just use the microwave next to the check-in desk. When I got to my room, I realized that I didn't have a mini fridge either, which really upset me, because I brought my own food for the next three days that I needed to keep refrigerated. I was told that I could store my food in the fridges that they sell snacks out of, but I didn't feel comfortable just leaving my food unattended 3 floors away from me. Aside from not having the appropraite amenities that I expected and was assured I would have, it was a very nice stay. The staff was very friendly and the location was perfect for where I needed to be. March 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good stay but some problems I enjoyed my overstay, but there were two issues that need to be addressed by the hotel. First, the air conditioning was not functional. You could set the temperature lower, but the air conditioner would only run for a few minutes and then it never came on again. Second, I had no problem with the water temperature until I took a later shower (8:30 AM). On that occasion, the water would unexpectedly turn ice cold. This happened about 4 times and it always took some effort to get the temperature back to warn. I hope the hotel addresses these issues because they are systemic in the HVAC and water heater systems. If airport noise will bother your sleep, it might not be the best choice. It was excellent for us. This hotel is not in the best neighborhood. February 26, 2014

I don't recall a room with so few. Second, I like a room that is cold, quiet, and dark. This room was quiet and dark, but no matter what the setting, the room would not get cold. February 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Atlanta Ice Storm I was lucky to find a hotel room close to the airport during an Atlanta ice storm. I was even luckier it was this hotel. The staff went out of their way to ensure all incoming guests had a good experience. From longer complimentary appetizer hours to shuttle service for local restaurants, they went out of their way to help their stranded guests. They even allowed me to not checkout until I knew my flight was not cancelled. They were friendly and very helpful during my entire stay. Highly recommend! February 16, 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good place if you want to stay by airport The hotel is very nice, up to date and clean. It is very quiet, do not hear much noise coming from the halls. Front Desk staff was very nice. However there are some things the hotel should take into consideration. The public ashtrays outside are too close to the doors and as a result we had to walk through a few smokers upon entering the hotel. The front desk seems rather busy at night and there is only one person on staff. Both nights the person on duty was very courteous and worked as quickly as possible but they could really use a second person. Breakfast was very disappointing. The first morning, there was only one person working and it was busy, plates were not be refilled, food kept running out and was not very warm. We were in the room later in the evening and housekeeping knocked and then walked right in without waiting. January 29, 2014

Shuttle drivers are the best!!! Rooms ARE sound proof to out side noise,but guest slamming doors will always be an issue,anywhere. January 5, 2014

Beds were very comfortable, staff was friendly and very informative, and the breakfast was impressive! Perfect location to get free hotel shuttle to MARTA at the Airport! No need to waste money on a car rental! Great experience so if we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stay at this hotel again! January 5, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great I rally enjoyed my stay here which wasn't my first. Me and 14 yr old enjoyed and relaxed we where on a vacation from the long star state. The only problem that we had was when we arrive there was no one at the front desk and we waited for at least 10 min and that's only because we saw a worker standing in the door way down the hall I assumed she was off and waiting for her ride to pick her up I asked her was some one working and she said yes there should be some one at the front desk I told her no and she walk with me to the front desk and she tapped on the counter with a pin when a Lindt came from behind the wall not to even say o iam sorry..... She was like ok and and did her job which I thought was very rude...... That's was only problem I had but besides that we enjoyed our stay and would say again which we go to GA once a year! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Park & Stay We stayed at this hotel on our way to Las Vegas. Very nice hotel. Lobby was tastefully decorated and smelled wonderful. The front desk clerk was very nice & friendly and check out was quick. The breakfast was adequate enough to get you going for the morning. I would recommend though that more fruit be added other than bananas and also yogurt options would have been nice. Other than that I would probably stay at this hotel again if I had to fly out of Atlanta Hartsfield. Recommend using your GPS to find this hotel and any others, street is kind of hidden from the main road. January 1, 2014

Chose this Holiday Inn Express. Chose this coz i am a IHG member + they take AAA cards. the GOOD - - Simple neat room good enough for a night halt - good beds - critical right for a stopover expecially after a long drive - simple but good breakkie - easy admin procedures the not so good - - approach to the hotel is pretty dark and it was raining that day so even more tough.. - cant recall anything else.. will recommend this express halt anytime..!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by what a surprise! When my husband and I arrived I saw the facilities and thought oh another Holiday Inn Express. Boy was I wrong. The receptionist was friendly and the computer with printer was right there so I could print my boarding pass before I even went upstairs(we're in our 70's so we don't do the flight data on hand held devices). I looked out the window and saw the runways and thought "Oh I'll never sleep". WRONG! Never heard anything that made me think airport. Next morning, breakfast was fine,van was on time for airport. After I went through security I realized I had left my phone plugged in and in our room. I called they sent someone to bring the telephone downstairs and will hold it until we return Friday. I fully expect to have a great experience when we are guests again Friday. Would highly recommend this holiday Inn express and we will use it the next time we are using the Atlanta airport. Was given misinformation on where the van would pick us up and after multiple phone calls and waiting close to an hour the van finally found us. Would suggest that night clerk get the cell phone number of the hotel guest in case there is an issue with communications. December 23, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best customer service received We travel a lot for cheer competitions and in the past 3 years this is the best customer service I have received on any of her trips. We usually stay across the street from the convention center so I was disappointed that we were not within walking distance. I feel the complete opposite now. When we arrived there was a welcome sign for our cheer team. The front desk staff immediately welcomed us and engaged in conversation about our visit. She told us about the shuttle and how often it ran. Every time I talked to the staff they were courteous. The shuttle was on time and was patient even though he was driving around a bunch of cheerleaders. Larry was awesome and took us to dinner and came back to pick us up. We were not outside waiting since paying the bill took longer. He came in to let us know he was outside waiting. When the competition was over they sent 2 shuttles to make sure we were not waiting in the cold. Then the staff was friendly when we checked out and the manager came around the counter and shook our hand and let us know she looks forward to seeing us next year.
