Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Friendly staff! :) Everyone was friendly! Clean, comfortable hotel. The evening gentleman that checked me in (his name began with a J I think) made sure to check in on me. The first hotel key he gave me didn't work since it was keyed to the wrong room. I came back down and he re-set it. As I entered the room, the phone was ringing. It was the kind man from downstairs just checking to make sure I got in. The woman who worked breakfast was very kind and ensured I had everything I needed! There was one bit that did not work: the spa/hot tub. When I checked in, it was closed. The 2nd evening, it seemed to be okay but the chlorine was very intense. The 3rd evening, I went to get into after my workout and the water had drained below the jets. I alerted the woman at the front desk and she said she would request someone to look at it in the morning, she didn't know how it worked. May 14, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service Everyone is so very helpful at this Holiday Inn Express as well as all the others I stayed at on my way from AZ to MN. Very pleasant people and more than willing to help with any need. Thanks, I always enjoy my stays. May 6, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice place, but... My husband and I have stayed at this hotel once before and had a very nice experience. We try to stop in Colorado Springs in our transition from our winter home in AZ to our residence in Nebraska in late April each year. We travel with two small dogs, and we are happy that this hotel accepts dogs. Last year your desk clerk was very helpful in making sure we had a convenient place to park, even moving her own car so we could lug our dogs, crates, etc., inside without hassle. She was extremely helpful. This year it seemed as if the hotel was understaffed with the desk clerk/manager running ragged to get things done. I certainly do not fault her for any issues. The pool area was swamped with kids who were out of control, but the biggest issue for us was the OVERWHELMING SMELL OF CHLORINE coming from the pool all the way down the hall and under our door, which was at the far end of the building. My eyes were burning, dogs were sneezing, and my husband could almost taste the smell. Since it was late and we had already unpacked our things and had the dogs settled down, we opted not to request another room. Other than this issue, our stay was reasonably comfortable. We will probably stay here again, but I hope we never encounter the strong smell of chlorine in our room again. May 3, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We loved it! This Holiday Inn Express and Suites was spectacular ... and we'll be staying here again! We had a clean, roomy suite with windows overlooking Pike's Peak. We loved the location with its easy-on, easy-off access to the freeway and close proximity to the Academy and restaurants. The staff was friendly and efficient ... a perfect combination! We have been to numerous hotels in the Colorado Springs area and this was our favorite! April 24, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by consistency I travel alot for business and I always stay at a Holiday Inn due to consistent decor and services. This hotel is no exception. It was consistent, comfortable, and very affordable. The only drawback is that the parking lot is not well lit. April 22, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Business Traveler My stay at this hotel was a great value. I was only there one night, but the staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to all my business needs. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Also, I was pleased that while the breakfast said it was only available from 6-7:30, I went down there at 8 and there were still many options available. Great location off the highway. Would definitely recommend. April 22, 2013
