Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good for Business I recently stayed 3 nights at this location. It is actually about 7-10 miles from Columbia, but I was needing to be within 30 miles of Shelbyville and this is a much quieter and less busy location than the Murfreesboro Holiday Inn. Rooms were very clean and the staff were friendly enough. The only thing that might be an issue to some is the noisy interstate on the front side of the building. I run the cooling system fan all night, so it was no issue for me. The bed was a little hard and uncomfortable, but I was able to sleep pretty well and had no interruptions from neighbors or otherwise. Internet speed was sufficient for me to work and the King Suite had plenty of room to work and relax in on the evenings I had several hours to spend on the job after returning to the hotel. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to avoid the busier traffic in congested cities and still be within 30-50 minutes of Nashville/Shelbyville/Murfreesboro. There is only cardio machines in the fitness room, but for a few nights I made do with push-ups and sit-ups in the room. November 3, 2014
