Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great New IHG Property Stayed at this property with another couple for a MU football game. Excellent location to the MU campus, easy on and off Hwy 63. The hotel itself is brand new and the staff show that they care and want your stay to be a good one. The room was spacious and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom large. The Express Breakfast had everything that you would need to start the day off right. Breakfast staff came around making sure that you had everything that you needed. The only disappointment was not being recognized at check-in as a Platinum IHG member. Will be staying again soon. September 17, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by noise level While the hotel itself was very nice, clean, and new we had the misfortune of being assigned a room on the first floor right next to the kitchen. The noise from the kitchen woke us each morning at 5:30. Very unpleasant. September 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Much nicer than I expected Overall the room was much nicer than I expected from a Holiday Inn Express. Admittedly, I haven't stayed in one for many years so maybe they have all been upgraded. I liked everything about this stay except there was a strange odor to the room as if they had had a water leak at some point and the room still smelled but it wasn't over powering. The room was not cheap but I think this was because it was a football weekend and we did have a suite. September 15, 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Will not stay again - fraudulent credit card charge I will not stay at this property again. There was an issue with processing my card upon check out. The original front desk clerk I spoke with was extremely rude. The hotel charged another card I had on file without my authorization. I needed to use my corporate card and the hotel charged my personal card. The hotel would not back out the charges when I told them they did not have permission to charge my personal card. I highly recommend removing all credit card information from IHG Rewards account to prevent this hotel from charging that card without your authorization. I travel to Columbia, MO frequently for work and I will be choosing a different hotel for my stays. I no longer feel comfortable giving my CC information to this hotel. September 15, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice and brand new I used a free night and had a glitch with that. The problem was corrected using an 800 number. It doesn't reflect on the desk people but I thought the manager could acknowledge my email regarding my stay. Call me high maintenance. Otherwise, the bed was super-comfy and the breakfast was outstanding. The bathroom trash had not been emptied from a prior guest so that was more than I wanted to see but otherwise, it's a nice facility, close to the University. September 15, 2014
