Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Where's housekeeping? There were so many things that went wrong with our stay. 1) The breakfast was bad. We suspect they had lost power as the yogurt was sour and the bagels were stale. 2) On Sunday while getting ready to attend a funeral we received a call from the front desk asking when they could clean our room. It was 10:30 am. We told them about an hour and their response was "we can bring you some towels but our housekeepping staff is leaving." 10:30 am? 3) We turned on the TV and no TV. Someone from the front desk cam up to investigate. No luck. I disconnected the cable from the satellite receiver to the TV and there was no wire at the satellite box side. It had NEVER worked! We eventually had a new cable delivered to the room. 4) Ants! There were ants crawling up the bathroom sink drain. Oy. I travel a lot and this was possibly the worst accommodations I have ever had. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by A Roach in My Room The room is comfortable and spacious, but that doesn't make up for there being a roach in my room. What makes this worse, is that when I notified the staff member at the front desk, all she said was that we were in the country and there is nothing that can really be done about it. I was floored by her response. She didn't apologize. She didn't offer to compensate me in any way. All she did was make a lame excuse. I have lived in the country before and I know that roaches are NOT normal, especially with regular pest control treatment. If I wanted to stay in a roach infested room, I could have gotten a room at a motel for a third of the cost. I chose Holiday Inn because they are supposed to a reputable chain. In addition to this, the hotel looks very old--worn carpets, chipped paint, semi-clogged drain. The only thing that made me not put "Poor" as my overall experience is that the bed and pillows are comfortable albeit a little on the soft side and the breakfast menu was pretty good. Also, the staff member running the breakfast area was friendly. December 14, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 not happy I have to complain about No Hot water...the weather was cold out and I would have loved a hot shower but there was NO hot water. I let the water run a few minutes thinking it would help and it did not. I work at a hotel back home and when I asked for a better rate I wan not offered one. Although I decided to stay it was only because of the IHG membership. I am hoping it will be a better experience in the future because my daughter attends school there I do plan to visit again in the near future. November 29, 2015
