Once we where able to get through the closing of the main lobby due to cleaning of the floor and negotiate which doors were actually open the stay was enjoyable. Had to extend stay an additional night and was able to secure room at late hour with no problems.

We loved almost everything about this hotel! The ONLY negative thing I would say about it would be the hot tub. We really needed it for sore muscles, and while the water temp was great, the jets were not powerful at all. The pool however, was probably one of the warmest hotel pools we've been in, so that was very nice! Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Having stayed here for nearly a month due to a family member in nearby Riverside Hospital I can say this is an outstanding accommodation, an exceptional value. There are many properties available in the area, and we looked at most of them before booking Holiday Inn OSU. The cheaper ones were cheap indeed--often shoddy. The more expensive ones didn't appear to offer anything we needed that we didn't get here. This hotel is spotlessly clean. Most of the staff has worked for many years here or for other properties owned by this management; they know what needs doing and they do it very well.
The room was spacious and quiet; always clean and neat. Free WiFi, easily accessible and reliable (my husband was able to run his business without a hitch#. The entire staff, from housekeeping to front desk, was superb: friendly and helpful and considerate and kind. Brian, Lee and Annette at reception kept things moving and helped fax documents for us. The only additional service we needed was a scanner, and the nearby Staples filled that need.
Pam, always a friendly face in the morning, kept the breakfast room clean and well-stocked; there was quite a wide selection from yoghurt and fruit to hot and cold cereals and the eggs and meats were varied from day to day--the food was tasty. I grew to love the "magic pancake machine"--it turned out pancakes I would be proud to serve at home. The pool is clean and not overly chlorinated and the hot tub is divine after a tough day. The exercise room is very well equipped..
All this 4 minutes from Riverside Hospital. And within about 10 minutes there are many extremely good restaurants--we are foodies and were very happy with Columbus Fish Market for fresh fish and steaks, Mugal Dabar for delicious northern Indian food, Shiskebab for Persian food, La Chatelaine #The French Bakery# for delicious dinners, and DeNovo Bistro downtown. We were surprised to find that Columbus is a very clean city--we expected "rust belt" and got "hi-tech and financial" and the people are unfailingly welcoming and friendly. The Ohio theater is an architectural and acoustical gem #we attended symphony--very high quality).
Holiday Inn Express OSU is an excellent choice; should we need to return there is no question where we will stay.

Surprisingly large room with two comfortable queen beds. Great internet service. The lobby was undergoing renovations, but was not a problem.

Excellent staff made me want to stay again. The facility needs some sprucing up, but it looked like repairs were in progress. My room was fine, hotel transportation excellent, and staff friendly and accommodating. Great location for the University of Ohio.

The food was not edible. Rubbery eggs, stale muffins, cold coffee. I literally spit the food into a napkin and went to McDonalds down the street
