The hotel was very loud very late into the night. In general the staff was less than helpful, especially so after the fire alarms were set off at 5:30 in the morning for no reason. I would not recommend this hotel.

Last year as well as this year we chose this hotel to stay in. My daughter plays in a regional volleyball tournament downtown. We has no problem getting to downtown and the commute was not far. The beds were comfortable and the kids love the pool. We have chosen both years to stay an extra night to enjoy it. Im sure we will stay next year as well.

There was a wedding party right outside of our window on the patio until 2:30am...and we were on the 3rd floor. I called three times and each time the desk attendant was very kind and said she would address it. Each time they got quiet for long enough to fall back asleep - then it would start all over again. When I looked out it appeared that there was a lot of alcohol consumption going on so I totally understood how they could be noisy. I just wish they had been redirected someplace that would have kept their noise away from people trying to sleep. We had a very early morning the next day. It wasn't until my third phone call that she said she would ask them to leave.

It was my first stay in a long time with Holiday Inn but that's about to change after this last stay. I can't say enough about how friendly and warm the staff was. Several front desk employees helped me with requests and did it with a smile. The rooms were clean and so comfortable. We loved the TV's! On Sunday morning my daughter wanted pancakes and the batter in the machine was low. The breakfast attendant not only showed us the second machine but got the pancakes started for us and then asked us if she could assist us or get anything for us!! Wow!! Who does that? Our stay was the same weekend as several teams with young children and we cringed at first. We did see many children in the hotel and many of them enjoying the awesome pool area but we had no problems whatsoever! The hotel employees were on the ball. Picking up and cleaning up th lobby and breakfast area. I can't say enough about our stay and how pleasant it was. Thank you to the management and staff of the Holiday Inn Express, Polaris / Columbus!!

This is probably the nicest Holiday Inn Express I have ever been to. The room was amazing and the staff at the front desk was wonderful. The only issue we had, had to do with there being a lot of soccer kids on our floor, which is normally not a problem, except when the parents/chaperone's don't stop them from running in the halls, yelling and talking very loud early in the morning and late at night. That isn't the hotel's fault though, so I have to still say, that besides this incident everything was truly wonderful and I would definitely stay here again!
