When I travel I always stay at Holiday Inn Express Hotels, I have stayed at 10 or more in the last 5 months. Every-time I check in I am offered a welcome package or 500 bonus points, at this location I was offered neither. The beds are very old and uncomfortable, plus the pillow are very old and flat. The breakfast was good and the breakfast attendant was very nice and helpful. I forgot my pillow and called the same day to ask if they could hold it because I was coming back through in 5 days and they said they never found it in my room. This was a gel top cooling pillow that cost around $50 and it just disappeared in less than 10 hrs of checking out . I stopped back by on my way back just to check and see if they found anything and there was an elder gentleman at the counter who said the same thing happened to him. Needless to say m pillow is forever lost. I will never stay here again.

The desk clerk wasn't exactly an accommodating type. When we asked if the Rewards Points were applied to our stay, she replied that "we don't automatically do that". We've stayed about 9 times at this same Holiday Express #as well as two others that we regularly stay at# and have always been well taken care of. She then changed it to "The manager that entered the information didn't have time to do it" in a rather snarky tone. She didn't offer the customary complimentary water or snack as we've been given each of the other times we've stayed there. This same desk clerk was on duty in the morning as well. She was a little behind in getting the breakfast set up, so several guests were waiting for their breakfast. #eggs, pancake machine, syrup, etc#.
Your business is hospitality and this individual simply....wasn't hospitable. There are many hotel chains along our travel routes and we purposely seek out Holiday Inn Expresses as they are usually a consistent value. Yours was the highest priced of the three we stayed at this trip #by a considerable amount#.

I prefer to Stay at this hotel when I am in Concordia, have stay numerous times in the past and it is always very comfortable.

Even though we booked a room at half price with Bonus Points, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly, helpful, and professional front desk staff. We were recognized as Gold Elite IHG Rewards Club Members and received our Welcome Bonus Points soon after check-in. Our room was quiet, spacious, and spotlessly clean. We slept soundly on comfortable queen beds fitted with quality sheets and pillows. The bathroom was well stocked with fluffy towels. The free Internet service was fast and reliable. Breakfast included plenty of hot and cold choices, served in a spacious dining area. When we got home, we received a handwritten note thanking us for our stay. Talk about customer service! This hotel goes the extra mile to provide the most comfort, the best customer service, and the best value that we have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express.
