Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service Service and room were all that we expect from Holiday Inn Express. WiFi worked well, which is important for us. Restaurant next door was casual, with good food, some of it unusual, and especially good service from Laurie. We mistakenly left a folder of information in the room. The staff called us at home to ask if it was important, which it was. They immediately mailed it to us, for which we are grateful. June 15, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sandpaper Bath Towels - Mundane Unhealthy Food Choices Recently stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We were pleased with the the room and service. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. We have stayed in other Holiday Express hotels for several days and so appreciated the variety of foods served for breakfast. This hotel served the same foods every morning we were there. We would appreciate more options that include "healthy foods." The "O's" cereal was stale which seemed to be the most healthy choice so cereal was not an option. Really sausage and gravy on a biscuit???? Some of us do like to have a "healthy beginning to the day. The bath towels were like sandpaper. We have stayed in many hotels and never had such scratchy towels. June 7, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Business Trip in IA better thanks to HIE in Coralville Even when you're away on business you want to be able to relax a bit. It was easy at this place. The staff was great and the facility was in tip-top shape. The happy hour that they throw is kind of the norm but the staff makes it "fun." They just don't pour your a drink and walk away...they interact with the guests. It may seem like a little thing but the little things are what separates a good facility (stay) from a great facility. The one in Coralville stands out above most because of the attitude of the staff. The condition of the hotel is outstanding but the all of the staff from cleaning support to management go out of their way to make sure everything is correct. Never had a bad stay here. May 16, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional stay! I travel quite frequently requiring me to stay in hotels 2-3 nights each week. This Holiday Inn Express is one of the best I have ever stayed in! They have some of the friendliest staff I have ever encountered! Everyone I came across, from housekeepers to front desk attendant, seemed genuinely happy to be there and clearly take pride on their jobs. The room was spotless and looked brand new (they told me the property was 12 years old - doesn't look it at all!). Breakfast was great and they even offered an evening "happy hour" which was much appreciated after a long day of driving. I would not hesitate to stay here again. April 25, 2013

We are used to having breakfast on our stays at your facilities but we were surprised to being treated to a "cocktail hour" in the evening as well. Very nice! April 18, 2013
