Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great lemonade and cookies We appreciated the complimentary lemonade and warm cookies in the afternoon provided in the lobby. Everything was clean and comfortable. The previous night we had stayed in Jacksonville, which did have much better eggs (these were not as light and fluffy) and glass shower doors instead of the plastic shower curtains. The location is easy to get in and out of, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms were nice and well maintained. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A pleasant experience even though I got sick I arrived early Monday morning, the end of a fun filled 21 hour day. The staff checked me in quickly. When I woke up Monday morning I found the intestinal bug that had gone through coworkers and family had found me. While I was wallowing in intestinal agony I noticed the gfci outlet in the bathroom didn't work. It wasn't a big deal, I moved the coffee maker to another outlet, and carried on. However, I notified the front desk figuring future residents might give them grief. I stepped out to get some pepto bismal, which was my consolation prize for not making it to site (ahh... the joys of 24 hour bugs!), when I learned that the staff had already troubleshot my outlet issue, and were going to replace it. However, once they realized I wasn't feeling good, and would be in the room the rest of the day, they held off replacing the outlet until some time later, when I wasn't going to be in the room. I'm a road-dog, spending over 70% of my time in hotels. This kind of attention to detail is rare. When I return to Corsicana next month I'll be sure to stay here. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value... The hotel is nice enough. Unruly children dampened our pool/spa time and breakfast was so-so - it may have been better if not so crowded with a better sett-up. Overall, though, I do recommend this property. August 8, 2014
