The staff has been exceptionally great especially the housekeeping who keep the rooms dependably immaculate.
Some of the younger staff are not as great as the older staff,....... but all try to "go the extra mile".
The road side is very busy and noisy at times.... the river side is quiet and very relaxing.
Years ago when I stayed the fellow patrons were all very great but lately I have had a poor experience a about half the time when large parties of males ( high school teams?) are inconsiderate and loud running the halls at all times of the night and they eat all the cookies immediately ( an no more are made) not saving any for any other customers, When this is the case I cannot sleep and my experience is poor but I think the staff tries hard in spite of this.
In just this year alone the carpets and areas are looking worn from this high volume of exuberant guests.
When teams are there I think i would better stay out in Philomath or Albany as it is not a good thing but I never know when those times will be, Its hard .. I pay a lot of money to stay here and the teams should keep to a considerate code of conduct dictated by by the hotel.
I am a gold plus member yet often the staff does not recognize this when i check in.
I have stayed at other hotels where the staff always recognizes me. i have stayed at this hotel over twenty times this year alone and yet they do not seem to remember me. When i call on the road for a reservation lately i am transferred to the call center rather than the hotel taking my reso personally. the call center does not always even know where corvallis is and sometimes does not seem to speak clearly which is tedious when i am calling tired from a long day on the road.
The level of front desk service is dropping a little depending on who is there. yet a few of the older longterm employees are extremely dependable and well mannered.

We were delighted with our experience a this Holiday Inn Express. Great staff, very nice room, nice extras like evening snacks and decent breakfast, all at a great rate.

My family and friends stayed recently and occupied several rooms. We loved this location on the river and spent time relaxing on the adjacent patio. Each morning we looked forward to breakfast and seeing your cheerful employee Miriam. Miriam always greeted us each day with a smile and a "good morning". She was impeccably dressed and groomed and maintained the dining area and food service the same. We all noticed that she was so sweet, hard working and must be a valued employee. Thank you to Miriam and all of the staff for helping make our stay more enjoyable while we dealt with some difficult family issues. -Johnson Family
